We had sooo many of those drums with the same problem at work with the Kyocera TaskAlfa 266ci... At home I have an Ecosys M6530cdn that has DK-5140 drums, at one time in the past the yellow and cyan ones had the same problem but way less than the DK-590, I noticed they increased the space betweenthe cleaning blade and the auger that transports waste toner to the waste box in other words that waste chamber is bigger, I think what happens is that as there's so little space in there in the DK-590, the toner would get stuck on the auger instead of being transported by it and that results in the chamber getting full and the cleaning blade getting so dirty it can't clean the drum anymore, most of the times cleaning that fixes the issue :) I'm glad we replaced nearly every 266ci with Brother MFC-L9577cdw to every customer!

@PaoloMarcelli @PaoloMarcelli Yes. Kyocera color printers and copiers have many disadvantages and you have to be careful with the toners in particular. Any attempt to work with a non-genuine toner can end in trouble.

Hi Tomasz, I commented a few weeks again about horizontal lines on photocopied pages from my Kyocera mita km 3530. I have since bought a fuser assembly unit for it but the problem is still there. I've cleaned the glass and other parts but still no luck. I've noticed that you sell photocopier parts and I'm thinking of changing the drum unit so I'm wondering would you have one for my Kyocera mita km 3530 please

If he has such a problem, you actually need to replace the imaging unit, i.e. the drum unit. Unfortunately, I don't have such an element anymore.

So officially, the only user replaceable parts on Kyocera printers are the toner cartridges, correct? Kyocera expects users with problems to have them professionally serviced?

There is a sensor in the printer responsible for the waste toner container, you need to clean it.

@adamkurowski66 Nie. Na pierwszy rzut oka faktycznie listwa do wymiany, ale to nie listwa. Wyssany deweloper powoduje takie zjawisko w tej drukarce. Gdy pokręcę bębnem, to jest o czysty, ale gdy zaczyna pracę w maszynie to efekt jest właśnie taki.
