8:29 Ehhhh, Sokka fighting Zuko in ep 2 was him being unprepared to fight but fully prepared to give himself for his whole village and this is the only time in his entire life (other than literally being forced into war as a child) when he's been offered an opportunity to train in combat

Sokka calling fans girly kinda breaks the worldbuilding for me now since that's more of a modern/western conception (granted, this is a western show); in the East, they're unisex, with even Samurai using them to assist in fighting.

@@r.a.fgattaiguy845 That thought might also have something to do with the group of strong women who are introducing him to their culture and he's still coming from a place of being sexist rather than to accept a more feminine (as these women are, once again, the only ones to wear these outfits that Sokka is seeing) attire than anything Sokka has ever worn

@@r.a.fgattaiguy845 Ah yes, remembering a single child that everyone thought died with all the other children and masters 100 years after said incident, makes sense We don't even know the Airbender's links toward other nations so we have no clue if they even knew of Aang's existence or if the Fire Nation just said, "The current avatar is an Airbender, let's kill all of them" and most likely they didn't know cause if they did, I'd imagine they'd capture Aang if so but that might be giving too much credit to the fire nation

@@cottoncandyenthusiast8371 I said airbenders, not Aang himself, stop being so aggressive I don´t know if the world knows that the FN ended the Air Nomads, but they definitely knew the Avatar was one of them, it´s why the FN attacked them to begin with, we learn in Season 3 that Sozin used the comet´s power boost to wipe out the all the Airbenders, and then spent the rest of his life looking for the Avatar, they knew he had survived because the cycle stopped regardless, my point was that if people knew what Airbenders looked like they should´ve know Aang was one of them, unless they forgot because they haven´t seen one in 100 years

Cause that's literally the correlation, every airbender had those tatoos and so, if people don't know what they mean, they forgot what the meaning associated behind them but Idk if this came off more explanatory than not? Cause it seems pretty obvious to me? Also, why did you make the entire rest of this comment? MY point was that even if everyone in the world was absolute best buds with the air nomads, 100 years of silence and no communication would've just left them with no reason to remember such a tribe nor to even share the fact that they existed to the next generation

@@cottoncandyenthusiast8371 idk man, there´s only 4 nations in that world, one of them vanishing would be a pretty big deal, and 100 years is not long enough for everyone to just forget about them, specially when we know that kids learn about such things in school, even if the one scene we got was FN propaganda
