I do love the new USA-1 but I’ll never forget going through the tower hobbies magazine when I was a kid and dreaming about the clodbuster and USA-1 . Something about the nostalgia of it for me
There is a four wheel steering option coming out. Just got this and the MadVan for Christmas when i showed my wife the sides of the truck she just smiled. So cool you have the original one also. Monster truck is looking badass the net in back is so old school its great.
Great channel! I like the proportions of the vintage USA-1. You mentioned doing CAD design and CNC for some of your projects. Would like to see that shown on your channel. Cheers!
Who remembers the Nitro USA-1 that came out back in the day? I was a clod guy all the way, had ESP Zilla 2 and 4 chassis. Also the Bennett Equipment Clod-a-leaver
Cool! they are both beauties!! I think they did make the axle housings stronger on this one and also the suspension arm things that the axle tubes slide into also are much longer. Hard to get those parts for my old foxx style suspension and axles housing parts and stuff now. Can't wait to see you run it!
@@clodbusted1776 O was going to say you could paint your real monster truck like that clod you did with the body like it but put clodbusted on it so tamiya can't get ya...actually paint it anyway you want and use clodbusted for the name it sounds good for a monster truck.
the new usa-1 axles were updated, they have added some thickness to the tubes and the wider tubes for the links. new part numbers if you look in manual, i updated my foxx-ve 2.0 with them already but have not tested yet. not sure how much it will help though. i got a bunch of the mad crusher axles incase one breaks.
The decals match the original USA-1 monster truck it was modeled after. This is after all scale modeling. So the haters can get bent. It's been a fun truck for me, but the rear wheel torque steer is brutal so beware of that if you 4WS mod it.
Wow i really like it! i think i told you ones, i bought the origenal Mad force to convert to electric ha, it worked graet only no brakes or reverse cause of the one way nitro bearing on the spure, I just may get me one of these :)
Great platform... I got a Mad Crusher VE with a set of heavy, massive Imex Jumbo Kong tires and it can wheely and jump with the stock single torquey brushless motor
@@clodbusted1776 I got some 17mm hex hub extensions to clear the tires for steering and jacked up the body with carbon fiber tubing for post supports and bracing, then mounted the Kongs to Imex’s chrome Diamond 17mm hex wheels. I gotta make a video of it soon. I may eventually put dual motors in it because it’s already got the mount, but it hasn’t needed that much additional horsepower yet.
🖕 the woke!! I stumbled on your channel because I've been bit by the Clodbuster bug again. Sold all mine when I hit some hard times,so I'm back on the hunt and I subscribed 🤘
