I love you and Ash friendship, I feel like you all are really good friends but can make your own decisions and not be those clingy type of friends who need you like every step of the way when they want to do something. My happy place is also Arashiyama!! So much peace, so much green... I always end up in the back streets, fantasizing on living there! Every time I had enough of Tokyo it is only hours away. Perfect! It is such a blessing indeed.

I actually do have a happy place! My friend lives up in the Adirondacks in NY and after I told my therapist how healed and loved I felt every time I went there, she made me realize how much that place IS my happy place.

My happy place is a tiny town called Chatham in Cape Cod! My family goes there every year so it has a lot of loving memories for me

You are very lucky, my happy place is half a world away from me right now. Bae and I lived in China for several years and the last year there we lived in Dalian, Liaoning Province, a gorgeous city of mountains and ocean. And unlike you, I. LOVE. WINTER! And as gorgeous as Dalian is ( think a mix of Vancouver BC and San Francisco) in spring, summer and fall, the city is magical in winter. My fav place to go is Xinghai Square, it over looks the bay and southern part of the city, and just after a fresh snow at twilight, when the sky is a velvet purple pink fading into indigo and the city lights are sparkling and square lights up and the Xinghaiwan bridge that spans the bay illuminates against the night... Just WOWW!! I always feel like a little kid in that moment every single time. I've lived a lot of places, but no place felt quite as much like home as Dalian. 2022 hopefully we will be back and I'm past ready for it.

I have two Happy places. Las Vegas and Universal Studios in Orlando. Both places have artistic elements to them. Both remain me of what I have a passion for, which is art. Universal has Harry Potter, marvel, MIB, and etc. I went to Vegas for my 21st birthday. In Vegas I came out my shell! I never felt so free and one with myself in my life. My mom said I was glowing the whole trip.
