On this hotel tour, we stay at an amazing traditional hotel with onsen in Kyoto, Japan (Karasuma Rokkaku). A beautiful Kyoto house made of wood, also known as machiya, is part of the hotel. The building was registered as a tangible cultural property of Kyoto in 1991.
We will start this hotel review by touring the traditional Kyoto house, which has been renovated and redesigned as a lounge, including the tatami rooms and library. We will then explore the courtyard that leads to the guest rooms, which has some amazing Japanese stone lanterns.
