I am Australian, and have followed Tachibana S.H.S. band since 2018 from their performance in the Rose Parade in California. The first thing that drew me to them was their open and honest smiles. Those smiles seemed to glow and just enhanced their presence. Then when they started to play their instruments, it was clear that they genuinely enjoyed performing and pleasing the audience with their music and energetic dance moves. Tachibana S.H.S. band is probably the most unique band in the entire world, and their music is on another level. It may seem silly, but their performances have brought me to tears on many occasions. If ever there was a group of people that could bring peace through music, then Tachibana S.H.S. band is high on that list. And what is more remarkable, is that the members are just school students, who have yet to decide on what career's to follow. They are not only Japan's National Treasure, but also jewel's of the world. 🎼♥🎶
It's wonderful to hear about your deep appreciation for the Tachibana S.H.S. band! Their performances truly have a magical quality that captivates audiences from around the world. Their genuine smiles and passion for music shine through in every performance, and it's clear that they bring joy and inspiration to everyone who watches them. It's amazing to think that these talented musicians are still students, with bright futures ahead of them. They are indeed treasures not only of Japan but of the world, and their ability to evoke such strong emotions through their music is truly remarkable. Thank you for sharing your heartfelt thoughts, and may the Tachibana S.H.S. band continue to spread peace and joy through their music for many years to come! 🎼♥🎶
@mra6691 a beautiful right up and thanks for sharing. As I read your passages, it mirrored much of my own feelings about KT. Your occassional tears about them is not silly at all. I confess I have experienced the same. I believe it's as you described... the sincerity of their smiles and joy in what they do, while, as you said, suddenly hitting you that these are highschool students. When considering school being their main life coupled with the natural growth of coming into young adulthood and all the personal discovery that comes with the age..... it makes what they do and the committment they give to it and their professionalism and musicality truly awe inspiring beyond description. All these things, I believe, is what brings us the tears from time to time. I know this may sound strange but in a certain way I also believe that KT, in kind of a mysterious way, is particularly blessed. That despite all the generations... there is a great spirit that exists and remains in the halls and fields of Kyoto Tachibana and fills each new generation. And you are so right... I think watching KT in other countries... that is exactly what true diplomatic relations looks like far beyond what any politician could achieve. Wishing blessings and protection to these wonderful kids who bring to the world more joy than they could possibly imagine.💛🧡💛🧡💛
This is the first time that we have been given the opportunity to know what happens to these students after graduation. It's time for the Japanese student to let go of Groupism (Bushido) and allow the individuals to shine. There are some very talented students in this band. The time has come to allow these individual students to show off their talents and move away from groupism. The teachers of Tachibana know exactly what I am talking about. I have a great deal of respect for the Japanese culture. But the world is moving on.
