I didn’t understand one word, however, I could understand the emotion, determination and strength exhibited in an inspiring story!! I am a major fan of the Kyoto Tachibana SHS Band!
It's not easy. It's NEVER easy. But dogged determination and sheer iron will help those who wants to be the best. Yes, This right here is the path to becoming the Best in the World. This is how you become Number One. That's why Kyoto Tachibana is The Best in the World.
It's good to see that the play the way the practice. Always perfect to a "T" There's no doubt that for this very reason they're the best of the best. Yes, there are many good bands, now mind you I said good, not great. Kyoto Tachibana SHS Marching band are the very best and in a league of their own! Not only this but the younger students listen to the senior students and don't argue or talk back. They take it very serious and it shows when they're actually performing during many events! This is what separates Kyoto Tachibana SHS Marching band, from the rest of the marching bands in the USA and dare I say the rest of the world?
It's quite hard to believe: Toward the end part of the video shows that the year was 2012. YET, I saw many many familiar faces in which they could also perform in Rose Parade 2018. I am aware that there were many alumni among the band, but I really didn't expect to see many of them were 5-6 years already graduate students!. This, among many other things, shows how much KT students love their alma mater. Hats off!
And two years later (2014) all the 1rs years percussionist was part of one of the best drum line that Tachibana ever have some also was with the band in the 2018 Rose Parade like the girl with the cynbals who cry and the girl with the bass drum that at last was disapointed with her presentation like all the 1rs years and their senpai say to them that they need to practice more, also the senpais are hard with them but they also feel bad when they scold their kohai not long ago they were in the same learning situation and the ties are strong they are practically always together more than with their families in their high school cycle and being part of this amazing band, it is a wonderful chain of learning that passes from generation to generation and the quality never drops... Long Live Kyoto Tachibana!! 🟠🟡⚫🍊🎺🎷📯🥁🎶🎵
