This brings back memories. It was 17 years ago this month when I first arrived in Japan. While my wife was living and working in Tokyo, she is from Osaka, and so my first two weeks in Japan were spent in Kansai, visiting her parents and sister, and my wife taking me around Osaka, then Kyoto and Nara, Mino, Hyogo, etc. This video is following practically the same route I first walked from the station to the old part of Kyoto. I know all these places. I really miss Japan.
This may not have been your intended audience but I was a bit nervous about how long it would actually take to walk from Kawaramachi Station to our hotel and this showed me the exact route! Lovely walk and we are so looking forward to our trip next year!
Such a blessing to see places I may never make it to 💙💙Fabulous captures I enjoyed watching till the end😊😊Greetings from Poalnd. Hope to see you around.. :) Thumbs up from me! :)
Many people say that Tokyo is the capital of Japan, but there is no law to show it. According to Japanese customs, the place where the Emperor's house is is the capital. In that sense, Kyoto is the true capital of Japan. The house in Tokyo where the Emperor currently lives is a temporary house. There are not many Japanese who know this fact, so we sometimes give wrong information to foreigners.
Thanks for your video. It’s great for me to have a overseas tour under COVID-19. If you can show the map through your footage in the video, it’s wonderful. I’m from Hong Kong and thanks for the beautiful scene.
