@@Agiyi Because we are talking about someone ranked 12th coming into the tournament who didn't need to beat anyone in the top 10 to lift the trophy. Or even top 11. This is the point really. It meant Kyren had a pretty easy run and as we saw the quality of the snooker was pretty average at times across his matches. Contrast that with the 2023 winner Luca Brecel who had to beat the then world no 1 Ronnie in the quarter final and then world no 2 Selby in the final. That was an insane run.

@@vampirewilde alright, i hear that... Yeah the standard was pretty low compared to other years.. But again, in order for Kyren to face only lower ranked opponents, the higher ranked players must had lost to even lower ranked players.. So Kyren would have to win lower players who won higher players, if that makes sense... But yeah..
