i notice that that players and former players rank him higher than analysts and fans do. I’m just a causal fan so maybe it’s obvious but it’s very interesting
Kyrie is the second most dangerous man. Iggy is the first. Kyrie is great, but with the fate of the universe on the line and the Martians pointing the death beam at Earth, I WANT IGUODALA.
Not only is it a shot, it's a hook shot. Not only is it a hook shot, it's a hook shot from the free throw line. Not only is it a hook shot from the free throw line, it's a hook shot from the free throw line over jokic. Not only is it a hook shot from the free throw line over jokic, it's a hook shot from the free throw line over jokic at the buzzer beater.
Kyrie has every type of shot in his arsenal and he keeps showing us something new. Crazy. The distance, left handed hook, with a 7 footer in your face , buzzer beater, you wouldn't even put that into a fiction book because it would be too unbelievable
Ur a fake nugget fan because this one really hurt me to see jamal murray gift them the last shot of the game when the nugvs were supposed to have the last shot if kyrie shot that ahot 10 times he would be luxky to hit one fluke shot
@@ninoslavzivojinovic5861you sound CRAZY… hitting difficult shots is what he does… but the problem is give him that scenario 10 times he scores 10 different ways on Jokic … he could’ve took the first step in and had an even closer shot just avoiding Gordon
I was about to say, no matter how much I admire Kyrie for his skill... this hurts so much man, especially even more because it's such a crazy shot. We had a chance to steal this one from them... oh well.
12 feet?! His last step is about 2 feet inside the 3 point line! Three point line is over 23 feet. That means it was actually about 20 to 21 foot shot!
That’s just a pure talent shot that you can tell he only took because he personally felt like he could make it most of the times…Dude is ridiculously gifted
@@arizjones there's a good chance that ball would've gotten intercepted if he tried passing that. Plus even if he did make the pass, Luka would've been heavily contested
@@g.o.a.t_ee4074 A simple bounce pass. No "good chance" of it being intercepted. So tell me you never played basketball, without telling me you never played basketball. Contested? He had a clear path to the basket. He didn't have a seven footer forcing him into taking a left handed running hook shot from 12 feet.
I’m 50 and can’t think of another backcourt duo like this. Both can get their own shot anytime. One with his handles & other with their bag of tricks. Ur happy with either one taking final shot. Offensively I can’t think of 2 like this
MAGIC JOHNSON right hand game winning sky hook from the free throw line. KYRIE IRVING left hand game winning sky hook from the free throw line. AMAZING
When people ask, why do people rate Kyrie so high….its because of skills he shows that nobody can. A fucking hook game winner over a 7 footer with your left hand.
Even more sick, that was pretty good defense from Jokic! He was with Kyrie the whole play and didn't give him any space, had his hand up at the right time, "jumped" (as much as Jokic can) at the right time, and just barely missed the block because somehow Kyrie is able to shoot a left-handed floater while compensating for his body moving left.
And that angle. Sumo said Kyrie knows where he going to go as soon as he has the ball. From the foot work angle and knowing joker is going to contest. He’s absolutely incredible.
Kidd isn't a great coach, but the hate is disproportionally unjustified playing with 2 iso heavy superstar players, not to mention a wild comment for this specific video. That was a set play for the final shot with plenty of action.
@@user-pq4dq6bj2u and he took how many games and season to be specific? Have you seen how the Mavs have been poorly executing end game plays? I give him that last play. But he’s been poorly coaching this team after reaching the WCF. So if you think the hate is unjustified? Then I guess you don’t watch Mavs games often.
@@jcsantos8431 What coach is there available that you would rather have? The truth is regardless of who is coaching, the majority of the onus falls upon Luka's iso heavy system. And unless you have one of the few proven elite coaches you won't be happy either way.
@@user-pq4dq6bj2u Budenholzer. A champion coach. Kenny Atkinson, he did great with BKN before going to GSW as assistant to name a few. Those coaching will provide more than what is Kidd is capable of.
@@jcsantos8431 so if you can only name a few elite coaches over Kidd, is he really the reason why they're barely scraping the playoffs? Also while I would rather them, Atkinson also had the same flaws with rotations, and Bud ain't joining a team anytime soon.
Writing left handed doesnt mean you play left. Nothing about that shot was easy. LeBron writes left and plays with his right. Kyrie is ambidextrous because both of his hands are dominant. He worked on that.
This shot is so neck to neck with the Jordan over Elho shot. Jordan had 3 seconds left. Got the inbound pass and drove to the left but shot the ball with a right handed jumper. Kyrie had 2.8 seconds left. He got the inbound pass and drove to the left and made a left handed hook shot over the Joker. What an incredibly unorthodox ledt handed shot. Kyrie, Steph, Kareem, and Bird are the only folks who make these ridiculous shots look natural. Opposite hand running hook from that distance is insane
This guy is a true magician with ball who won’t be denied…. Whether it’s on a big, outside, inside, creating his own shot or spreading the floor for his teammates their is nothing this man can’t do. Mamba would of been proud🙏🏾🙌🏾💪🏾🔥and he had 24 pts aka Kobe Bryant smh🙏🏾🔥🙌🏾
Not the second buzzer beater of his career. Third. And thats still not counting all the game deciding shots he’s had in his career..he’s def top 10/15 most clutch player of all time. 🐐🐐🐐
The never ending hate Kyrie gets, but he has been, and always will be one of the best PGs to ever do it!! His handles, shooting, driving, passing, and his clutch gene is just next level!! You either have that big moment clutch gene or you don’t, Kobe had it, MJ had it, and Kyrie is deff up there with them in that aspect!! Dudes made so many big last moments shots. He won the championship for lebron in Cleveland with a huge 3 pointer!! He’s been doing it a long time, and he’s still there!!
