They also played 18 games against teams that didn’t even make the playoffs during that stretch. That stat definitely has context it’s not just a straight forward stat

@@TheWert34 3 games against GSW who would’ve clinched a playoff spot if they were in the East, Rockets would’ve at least made the play-in had they been a eastern conference team. There’s levels and Kidd was still experimenting with lineups post trade deadline, when we officially had our starting 5 is where we became the best defense in the league.

@@CastroJr15 Houston had the 20th ranked offensive rating for the season and GSW did have the 9th offensive rating for the year so that was somewhat of a challenge, but I think everyone agrees they were a dumpster fire all year. One game they can play great and then the next they won’t even break 100 points, but still defending the 9th offensive rating isn’t easy so you’re right there. But that being said Boston has the #1 offensive rating all year, it’s definitely gonna be a struggle for Dallas to defend. The lineup thing for Dallas will be interesting because if Gafford can’t play drop then I’m not sure he’ll stay on the floor for very long which can really put a lot of pressure on Livley throughout the series.

I spent plenty of time watching Pozingus in Dallas , he's just a big who. hangs out at the 3 point stripe.. PJ Washington will put the clamps on him out there .

John is the biggest homer. glad he is happy about his celtics to get the first place in the east… but can they rely on their firepower to win against a team that came out of the west? when the 3s don’t fall for you in 1 or 2 games, they’re automatically losses
