There is also a very clear physical reason for setting the nocking point this way! Thank you for this. Can you explain why the arrow must be positioned lower on a weaker bow, and higher on a stronger bow?

In the case of a weak bow, it's difficult to shoot the arrow far, so we aim a bit upwards. Therefore, we position it lower so that the arrow points slightly upwards. In the case of a strong bow, there are times when the arrow might fly above the target, so we might aim the arrow downward.
