I have listened attentively to many of Kyuhee's performances. I do not think I overstate the case in saying that. in terms of technique, profundity, and sheer heart-rending beauty of her performances, she is one of the world's great guitar virtuosi.
I agree with you, and I would also like to add that, in my opinion, her Friederich is one of the most beautiful-sounding guitars in existence. She and her guitar truly compliment each other.
A master class on how to make one note fully express every mood and emotion you’ve ever experienced. It doesn’t seem possible that someone so young can do with a guitar what most cannot after a life time of intense study. Unbelievable.
I’ve had a .few listens now and my previous comment doesn’t quite do her justice. Kyuhee not only stirs the emotions within the listener, she allows you to experience hers too. When you no longer have to remind yourself to breath while listening to her you start to feel how she feels in that moment and it’s beautiful.
My very favourite classical guitar piece of Fernando Sor. This song always triggers a variety of emotions whenever I hear or perform it myself. Nice performance Kyuhee, nice tone, beautiful interpretation. Thank you very much and best wishes.
Without any doubt the best performance of this most beautiful etude, even better than the "newer" version you posted, about a year ago. It's pure magic, the flow and phrasing is enthralling to put it nicely! Thank you!!
I have listened to Segovia, Julian Bream and John Williams for decades and enjoyed it so much. But after finding Kyuhee here on the internet I have found a new brilliant master of the classical guitar. You are absolutely so good and I love your interpretation and skills. Bravo!!! Hope soon here on RU-vid to hear you play Bach also!!!
These three are not that great to be honest with you. The worst being John Williams. His interpretation of Vivaldi's concertos for mandolin are a good example of not knowing baroque musicology.
Kyuhee is the best, PERIOD. I've watched many classical guitarist playing very well but listen to Kyuhee is like listening to an angel from heaven. Greetings. ❤❤❤
How much passion there is between this guitar and you, no one can tell. And how great is the emotion we feel from this union, no emotion can hide. It is very difficult to contain that stubborn tear that insists on running down her face, because love always defeats reason and breaks the heart of those who try to resist. Kyuhee mine beloved, the beautiful heritage of mankind.
She is able to bring out all the melancholy from the piece. Great performance. Good balance between the melody and the other voices. People who don't play classical guitar don't realise what it takes to polish a piece to such an extent.
I remember learning these Sor Etudes as part of my first conservatory elementary pieces. They are very pleasing to the ear. Thank you Kyuhee Park very nice to hear this played so well.
She knows how to play. She knows the guitar. She takes the piece at face value and says, "It goes like this people". I'm sure she studied into what brings her to perform it in the first place., Loving a lot of this music that could have easily been long forgotten.
Quina meravella. Segueixes convertint els millors sentiments en extraordinàries ones sonores. Al final he plorat. Totes les vegades. Moltíssimes gràcies, Kyuhee. Jo també sóc de Barcelona, com en Ferran Sor.
Love this piece, its gorgeous. You interpretation of it does the melody so much justice because it is easy to lose it in the magnificent accompaniment. Well played indeed.
A lot of heart and a lot of class, are two qualities that it is difficult for them to coexist in the same player, but you are a splendid exception ....
