@@EvanPantazi Thanks. Have you tried any of those techniques against a resisting opponent? Also, I was wondering if you knew what the double blocks in the middle of the Shotokan kata Jitte mean. Thanks.

@@matthewbaumann630 yes as with everything we do. As for Jitte, I never thought about it… but look at the Hangetsu Nerve Attack video on the channel here.

You are correct, this is from an older version of the Bubishi, not a modern rendition.

It may be conjecture, or just plain dreaming, but I see the Bubishi in real terms because of the Kyusho... the Katas are a by product... and fun to dissect. Thanks for the thumbs up, subscription and the comments!

There were many more well known instructors there yes Dillman, Remy Presas (also visible), George Mattson, Leon Jay, Ed Melaugh, etc. this was from 1999 a course I held in my area, with over 150 people in attendance.

@@EvanPantazi as a former Police Officer I would have loved this info back in the 80s. I have no formal Martial Arts training, but I do love the videos and the info provided. Well sir, thank you for your service (yes fitting our Street Warriors as well as Military). We have many LEO's using it in many countries, they all sing it's praises for efficiency and control. The laugh is amazement, after all these years even the simplest of incapacitations just makes me laugh, but I also laugh when I get it... so it isn't a maniacal thing.
