I love how Josh started it out at a relatively modest tempo, and the rest of the band kicked in and it felt like it was just going faster and faster. Like everyone was playing chicken with the pace.
@@Bromoteknada no josh played at the tempo of the album, proper. drummer sped up. Hence, why Josh is doing QOTSA, and tons of other shit current day, where are these guys? josh was the stand-out musician.
Best Kyuss lineup...I am 99% sure Josh didn't want it this fast...but what can you do. You can see he is looking at the drummer trying to give the pace, you can only go with the flow they had right here
Starboard One of the things I love about Josh is that he's only had one car his whole life a Silver 67 Camaro and people say Camaro's are Mullet Magnets
Drummer sets the tempo, 'Fredo went faster and Homme/Reeder/Garcia seamlessly match the pace. Whether it was on purpose or it was 'Fredo messing with the band, they made it work. It's my favorite version for that reason
@@startervisions how did John Garcia go Hollywood? He stuck to his roots and kept doing what he was going with Unida, Hermano and his solo stuff, all of which slaps and doesnt really go against the desert rock vibe
Damn, these guys are good! That drumkit has what, 5 pieces? Tommy Lee needs a 56-piece kit to make up for his lack of talent. I have listened to this song since Beavis and Butthead jammed to it and I have never stopped. This is a daily go-to!
also Josh slightly slower with the intro.. definitely drummer/tempo to fast. but they got through it. even the intro has a distinct forward momentum -> Homme was sitting back on that intro just a fraction
