Her mandarin pronunciation is 98% clear and accurate. And it is very good actually for a non mandarin speaker.

Any decent singer can sing the correct notes of a song. Many good singers can pronounce foreign words decentlyly. Imparting the emotions of the meaning of the song to the listeners is rare. KZ accomplished all.

In this masterpiece the KZ version literally felt from the inside the loss of love one. In Bisayan dialect, it is called "Dangoygoy" that in English may be translated correctly to "sobbing" in pain. Such creative artist is seldom found in todays global artist, and no one foreigner can sang in perfect Chinese Mandarin for non-speakers that only learned the moment of actual competition as she was challenged by committee organizers to sing Mandarin to test versatility.

Petra KZ does not speak Chinese Mandarin. I was made to understand that she got one week to prepare this...whats more insane is her ability to connect her emotions to a language she does speak... by the way I was told her pronounciation is spot on.
