that moment when she started rapping and you were confused. hahaha. you were like "what's happening?" She used to be able to belt but then she had problems in her throat and that affected her singing voice. Then she looked for ways on how to sing without belting. She was the first winner of X Factor Philippines and her rendition of Somewhere over the rainbow was amazing. That's her reason for joining X Factor. She wanted to prove that you don't have to be a belter to win a massive singing contest. Morisette and KZ interpreted songs for a song writing contest and KZ won. However, both of their songs were massive hits. Morisette's song was powerful with super high notes and whistle. KZ's song was just perfect though. Love your reaction. More vids, josh dove love.
funny how these two are really really good, and both have had problems with their throats, for KZ she had polyps, and Morissette had tumor, and they overcame it and they turned really great performers/artists.
She's the first ever to win X-factor Philippines mentored by Charice. She suffered from a lung nodes (I dunno exactly the medical term tho) when she was young that's why she can't hit higher notes. And that's the reason why she's unique coz she improvises songs and thus making it her own.
Charice was one of the judges in X-Factor Philippines, that made her the youngest judge in Guinness World Record. KZ Tandingan was mentored by charice and she won in that competition.
i was just a kid back then when the very first time i heared her was her audition on x-factor philippines. i became a fan from that moment. i know shes gonna win and she did. she's not into belting due to her throat problem but it never hinder her because she made a very unique of her own to sing songs of different artist. she may not be internationally known but once the world hear her i know it will be a BLAST!. I enjoy your reaction. I love the writings on your wall. lol. Thank you! Bagbati mula sa Pilipinas! :)
Eye of Rah ung anu word na "Proud", " Grey" at ung line na "Tripping in the Bathroom" ganyan magsalita ang mga Bisaya at Waray..... ung humahaba ang "R" sound sa isang word. hehehe Waray speaker kasi ako tas mga bisaya my common words like Ex. Makarangit or Makaharangit pagka pronounce namin niyan is "makar-rangit" or "makahar-rangit".
It is both a noun and an adjective, hence "She is a Filipino" and "She is Filipino" are both correct, just different sentence structures, i.e. Subject + linking verb + predicate noun, and subject + linking verb + predicate adjective. I'm not an English major, but I do remember that from my high school lessons :)
Hi Josh! Geez! I love how you reacted, the way so say "yes queen" its awesome. :) Please react to KZ Tandingan and Bamboo sings Thinking out loud in ASAP, that was great.
"hana at gumanti" didn't realize you were trying speak on our language until I googled the filipino translation of "let's go and react." "gumanti" could actually mean "to repay" or "to retaliate " on our language. but you're still cute whenever you say "hana at gumanti" 😊 and thanks for trying to learn our language. and that "i love ph" on your wall. that's sweet of you 😊😊

KZ when you let her loose and play with a song it's not gonna be a typical cover. She'll own it, I swear to god, could she own it! She's the winner of the first season of X-Factor and she's pure Filipina :D
New subbie here. I love your sense of humor, I love the way you give honest reactions. And I love that you love Filipino artists. 😊 I don't usually write comments, but hey, you're so cool I can't help it! It's fun watching your videos. 😉 More blessings to you. 😇 And more reaction videos, please. Keep it coming. 😊😊
KZ Tandingan is known for making the songs to look like she's the real singer. Her voice is so unique to the point you can't determine what genre is she singing but all in all. She is the only singer for me that has a unique voice and has a great taste of experimenting songs and make it as her own.
She is from south of the philippines where spanish is a great influence. she is one of the most innovative singers we have and she was the grand winner of Pilipinas Got Talent because of her style of singing and humble beginnings. see her audition piece and you will see..luv your reactions..candid and funny..
Her accent is bisaya- a dialect in the Philippines. There are so many dialects/accents in the phils, btw. Her style is kind of ethnic/hiphop/reggae/soul somewhere like that. She won Xfactor philippines. =)
You should see her first ever audition for X-Factor Philippines. She's just so full of personality. And she came on with a statement to prove: That the Philippine music industry isn't all about the belters.
She's a filipina singer, a very talented one. She makes songs that has sense. And her voice and style is superb ;) check more of her songs, you'll be amaze as well
Wow she's good. Your fave member of Bts Suga just dropped his mixtape! There's an mv for one of the songs called Agust D(his original stage name before suga). Also check out The Last. There's isn't an mv for it but there's a vid with eng lyrics.
she's not an ORDINARY SINGER.....SHE is an ARTIST, THE WORLD MUST SEE AND HEAR. COMBINATION OF SKA TO REGGAE TO BLUESY TO ROCK ETC....MUSHIFTER , MUSIC SHIFTER
she was the grand winner of "X FACTOR PHILIPPINES" year 2012 , and her coach was Charice Pempengco. Genre: Acoustic music, Contemporary R&B, Soul music react for her own song Scared to death and Mahal ko o mahal ako :) and also more of her performance in ASAP Philippines. thaaaanks...
she was from Pilipinas Got Talent and was born and lived in PH all her life. she's the coolest bisaya ever! that's her own rendition of royals, her accent was mostly due to her natural dialect and she's from davao in mindanao region. love her song's style cool af XD
x factor ph winner, kz tandingan is not just a singer but an artist too. she's not the typical one who'll stick to the same melody of the song she make it her own as if its a new song. from what ive heard she composed it, the rap part.
you're cool too :) by the way she won x factor ph and the rap part was written by her. i like her new style cause before, she was on a different genre more on RnB and now i think she's exploring
I've been watching your reaction videos on Pinoy singers for quite some time and was curious what Filipino word you used for "react". So apparently, it was "gumanti". I saw this on google translate so I guess you used it too. "Gumanti" is actually "revenge", a reaction, yes, but a negative and violent one. In colloquial Filipino, you can use "mag-react" and that's completely fine since we adopt English words in our vocabulary. "Tara na't mag-react" sounds more conversational. :) Hugs from Manila! Love your videos (and your hair). :)))
She is singing inside a bus that was converted into a radio studio. It is parked on a roadside somewhere in Metro Manila, Philippines. You could see people on the sidewalk watching her perform.
