She's originally a high belting singer like any other Filipino singer but she develop something on her neck i forgot what the term for it.( she discussed it on her BBC radio interview you should check it) that prevent her hitting high note tha she got depressed she even consider stop singing all together until she realized that singing is not all about high notes there are different genre etc. When she join XFactor Philippines that what bothers her not belting high but she eventually handled by Charice Pempengco and won the title. Rapping is just one of her resort

FYI again..she's not only a singer but also an artist on her craft which is music..KZ said that she add an ethnic beat in the beggining that is base on our ethnic beat in the Philippines and then with the combination of the chinese choreography drum..she incorporate many genre of music in the song(rock,rap,reggae,pop)..and some technique that she always uses like skatting or scatting (sorry, i don't know the spelling) when she's repeating sounds of letters or word..

From what I've learned about auto-tune it is a system which is used after a studio recording to correct errors. In KZ'z case in Rolling in the Deep, it is a reverb or 'hard-tune like TC Helicon. Aside from the system used in the intro, KZ sure did use her artistic musical skills to enhance it further with her magical voice! Thank you for your critique. I appreciate your reaction.
