I knew the 2's were coming but decided to get the Qudelix 5k instead of another set of EIM's. Really glad that I did because now I can EQ for the perfect sound. Keeping the Pro's for now. They sound INCREDIBLE!!!!
@@tonysilva2654 Qudelix 5k was a good call. I tried to buy one but they were OOS, so I settled for the BTR5. Still, BTR5 is a good unit...but the Qudelix really shines with its EQ library.
Nice review! I have a several pairs of KZ and CCA IEM's and they all sound pretty damn good. It's nice to see that someone on a tight budget can get some pretty nice sounding tunes in their ears. It's all about the Music!!! Thanks again for the video.
I have these on the way. Currently using a pair of KZ ZSN Pro X. Couldn't believe the difference switching to an QDC to 4.4, 8 Core silver-plated cord made over the stock one. Cant wait to give these a go.
Totally agree this is very good. It addresses the Pro X’s hot treble and allows even mellower treble by setting the last switch up. Just received the CCA Hydro and this proves KZ/CCA is on the right track as the Hydro has the smoothest and most sophisticated treble comparing to all their previous lineups.
Thanks a lot @PrimeAudioReview I just saw your video and my head-fi short review overlaps nearly to 100% with your observation! I really love their sound signature, liveliness, well balanced lows and highs even if its quite V-shaped with the switches set to UUUD (max bass and max treble)... and then comes the price and you have to admit that it became very creepy what 50 € headphones are nowadays capable of.
Got mine today, and i love how they sound. Coming from zs10pro x, (which was delivered the day when they announced zs10pro 2😂), you can hear the sound difference. Pro x was great on bass, but sometimes i wanted a tad bit less, so this switches are great options (for now i use UUDD, with trn T tips) and really like the sound. Lucky i got mine for early bird price of 35$, can't complain for a second iem.
hi, i have recently got my 1st IEM Kz zs10 pro 2 after watching your review. It's amazing! now i want to buy another(1 for home 1 for the office) should i want to buy kz zs pro X but I'm confused should i buy the same or try pro X. please help BTW you are doing great reviews! good stuff
I have these coming in soon and am so excited! Endgame for me hopefully. I got the Symphony and love the musical planar driver but the bass it just too bloated on some songs. Then got the AS24 and love the detail and soundstage but the bass is JUST enough … a bit lacking in some songs with all bass switches activated. These ZS10 pro 2 I got for 35$ and if they’re this good, it’s the deal of the decade!
interesting how on amazon this one has 0 reviews. i guess they're super new. either way i feel lucky i discovered the pro 2 exist because i would've just ordered the 1 if i didn't stumble upon this video. cheers
Looks like they've fixed the nozzle. The ZS10 Pro was my introduction back into IEMs and chifi really, they were definitely great sounding for the price but the build quality left a hell of a lot to be desired for me really. These look like a nice improvement over what I had and the tuning switches will be great for people new to the hobby who might not know exactly what sorts of tuning styles they prefer.
I'm a bit confused. I bought a set of zs10 Pro's. After listening to some youtube videos and music (with and without 1/8" ext) and I was disappointed by the sound. I heard a lot of artifacting in the high end frequencies, they were super quiet overall and I barely heard any bass. But these get so many good reviews so I'm not sure if I got a faulty set or what? So I'm still on the hunt for a set of IEM's dare I try the pro 2's? I'm honestly kinda lost at this point. Thanks for this video!
Got mine few days ago, i love them. I like how the switches actually gives this set a bit of uniqueness to the tuning. The DDDD setting makes it a somewhat L shaped tuning, which is very un-KZ like.
Great review…. I need your opinion please, I play bass in a rock band. I am thinking about getting a set of these. Or would I need something different like the KZ ZS12 Pro X. What’s your thoughts?
Great reviews 😎👍 I want your professional opinion on if this can be good for a LIVE rock band? Or any other IEM as per my requirement but budgeted. I play lead guitar. Thank you very much🙏🏾
My first set of iems were the ZS10 Pro and had zero bass. I think this was when they were going through one of their scandals. If they worked I never would have over corrected and bought the Ikko OH10. Honestly I've wasted so much money and I partially blame KZ for it lol. After all their problems I won't buy from them.
You should check out the CCA Trio as well if you have a chance. They honestly blew me away for a$40 IEM, similar to how you felt about the ZS10 Pro 2. Amazing sound for a sub $100 IEM. It really does feel like KZ and CCA are starting to figure it out now.
@@PrimeAudioReviews The Trio is basically a Rhapsody but an All 3 DD setup which fixes some of the spicy BA Timbre the Rhapsody had and has way less midbass scoop.
I LOVED the ZS6 b it when j tried the old ZS10 I was wk disappointed that I stopped buying KZ for a while. I realized oh, not everything they put out is fire!
I recently bought ZS10 pro x. After using some equalizer in treble region they sound really good! I lack audiophile terminology, so I will jus say that their only downside for me is not enough seperation between different sounds/instruments.
@@MuhammadYasir-2526 It depends. I need equalizer for them. But I'm sensitive to trebles and I need them mild and soft. If you're not too sensitive then i guess they're quite fine.
nice video thank you. this can be my first iem product but its mainly for gaming (especially escape from tarkov) i want to deep down into iems so i can play escape from tarkov on another level. I have heard that even cheaper iems will do better then my astro a50 wireless gaming headset and i want to give it a try with these if that info you think is correct. Also what is important these thing have low to NO SOUND LEACKAGE atleast compared to my A50 . My wife will kill me someday because of that thing. what do you think this thing can offer me gaming wise?
Had the zs10 pro. I would say it suitable for instruments like violin, very good seperation, resolution & clarity. Its not for edm or basshead. The mid very bad. Too harsh but its a gud IEM for that price .
I dont care the controversy but I kinda disappointed from Pro X as a Pro 1 owner. What we Pro 1 owner want was refine the treble, not harsh and metalicky. Pro X dont do that, but increase bass and vocal to "almost" shouty borderline, while treble just slight bit decrease which almost feel nothing has been done. So I kinda doubt if Pro 2 if they done anything with the criticism from 2 previous model. And also QC is also an issue that I doubt on KZ. My feeling is; Review model are not the same quality as consumer model. I still love my ZS10 Pro, it still live up til this day for me. It's not perfect but it sounding tick almost everything on my sound preferences.
@PrimeAudioReviews could you please recommend a good upgrade cable WITH mic for my KZ ZS10 Pro 2? I just found several for i.e. Kinera, QKZ, Yongse, Shanling and the like but none has a mic... Thank you in advance!
Im getting my first iem, shortlisted 7hz selnotes zero, castor bass, zs10 pro2. I liked the clean and wide kind of sound from selnotes from a video that i heard. Would kz castor or the zs10 pro 2 give me all that + more bass. Or should i get selnotes or any thing else wud u like to suggest in this range? Thanks
hello love from india, are these good for gaming?? and can you suggest me best iem for gaming in as low as possible budget (if less than 40$ that would be great)
I listen to a lot of metal and jungle, the fast drums tend to sound really congested on most earphones. Got to try the PR2, liked how it does percussion, great clarity, bit hot, timbre was off for sure, never tried BA. Do you think I should go for these or the PR3s? Any other reccs under ~$100?
I prefer the ZS10 Pro 2 a little more, for the sub-bass extension (tunable with switches) and extra midrange resolution. The HE01 is still a great little IEM though. Give it a try and see how you like it.
I have PR2 and it sounds exactly like the free bud that came with my old samsung Note phone. If PR2 has better separation than these, no point in looking further. They both sukk. If you want the best bang for the buck ever, I recommend the AKG N5005 from Harman. They used to be $1000 IEM, now they're in sale for $159 til they run out. They blow away everything under $1500. No need to mess with cheap sub $300 IEM anymore. All my cheap IEM are just collecting dust since I got 4 pairs of the N5005.
Hey there! I wanted to ask if these are some of the better IEMs at around it's price range for all around vocals? (Male and female.) I'm looking for the "best" IEM around this price point for clear and accurate vocals with QDC connectors to pair with Bluetooth adapters. Thanks!

How about KZ ZS12 PRO X? Does it sound and score better than ZS10 PRO 2 and will it be in the best $0 - $50 IEMs slab as per the buyer guide in your website?
My ZSN Pro finally gave up after 4+ years (just the connector on the right earpiece, I guess). I'm thinking of upgrading it to this. Will it be a great decision?
which one is more all rounder? rhapsody or thge zs10 pro 2? I like base but i like full and thich notes as well. that rumbles. I also like bass guitars which is more fun and all rounder? considering the price difference is almost same?
@@PrimeAudioReviews can you please describe the bass and base of the zs10 pro 2? Also how is the vocals on pro 2 is it better than Rhapsody? Rhapsody can be shouty on my ears right now. But I also like to retain the bass at the same time i don't want the shoutininess in higher volumes with the Rhapsody.
Both are fantastic. Zs10 pro 2 has more flexibility because you can adjust the bass quantity. The kz is also more resolving but the ew200 has a natural organic tone.
Probably not in the default mode but with all or half the switches down it becomes a different beast. If the Pro X was too bassy for you then you might like Pro 2.
Hi there, Juts got these and out of the box they sounds brilliant with a good bass and fullness however after tweaking the tuning I am not sure what happened but the sound lots all bass and it became very thin with loads of treble. Any tips what could have gone wrong? Is this a faulty pair? Thanks in advance
