I always liked the old KZ Twin ! I always thought it would make a Cool looking Chop . The Motors are bullet proof. Take it from a old Man whos had a lot of Choppers you got a Good looking Bike ! P.S. i am only 61yrs old but i guess to a young man i am old . Good Luck from Tennessee.
Great little bike! Just bought a 750 LTD twin to build a chopper during wintertime. Bullet proof engine, easy to maintain, most parts still available and it sounds just nice. Already love it!
Sorry never got back to you, yes they are bulletproof as can be! One thing I will say is the starter clutch bolts do loosen over time so it's best to loctite them up so they don't get loose and ruin the motor, other than that these things are great. It actually ran a bit high in the video as far as idle, I had to get a different set of carbs and after that we were good to go, nice and low idle and went well. I actually sold this bike, it was the only thing I had to ride at the time and it was not practical at all lol, but I got all the looks and I just loved the whole attitude of the bike, so I bought another one and gonna basically make it the same bike.
@@timebombprod6829 I'm looking forward to see a video of the new one! And I'll chech these bolts as you told me, even if the bike is very clean and very well looked after! It was in loving hands for 37 years.
Agora assisti o vídeo todo e gostei mais do que a primeira olhada. KZ750 ficou demais. Ganhou um escrito,do Sul do Brasil. Agora é botar para rodar na estrada e curti a vida. Parabéns!
Just for you and others, there is no issue running pods on CV carbs IF you make sure the mounting rubber on the pod (cheap pods always need to be trimmed) isnt cover the bean shaped slit that is what lets air in so the CV diaphragm does what its supposed to. I have run pods on more than a few bikes with CV carbs with no issues by making sure the boot is trimmed.
Thanks a bunch! I was the first to call the guy when it was posted, he said after about 15 calls he just quit answering. That's how it goes with these deals!
Yeah definitely possible, either that or some vacuum leak going on or the throttle plates aren't properly closing, it'll be sorted out and a video will be made for when the bike is really finished. Hope to see you on that one aswell!
