You didn’t even know what Juneteenth was! You should create a concert to represent your people since you feel pressed, but no instead you choose to step on our celebration and attempt to play the oppression Olympics…. You played.
Aye but honestly Even if it was Cinco de Mayo, if BLK folks took the time to show up to my concert I WOULDA SHOUTED THEM OUT.. and they couldn't even shoutout Latinos for showing up to support them?? now l see how they are
the messed up part is we don't even KNOW LA eyekon but their quick to throw ALL Latinos in this...they really quick showed how they really feel about us
Nah - stand on business. You said what you said and the other dude said it to you. You heard what you wanted - so please exit the culture. #notlikeus #epicfailed and disrespected the holiday #TFOH
It's not that he heard what he wanted its that he didn't care he wanted to say some bs just to get clicks and views and try to make his lane channel grow 😂😂😂
You sounded very ignorant. Do your research on Black History before you speak. And while you are at it, research Race Massacres other than the Tulsa Race Massacre too. Maybe then you will completely understand our plight.
Bro even if this wasn't for Juneteenth, why would you feel a certain way? Nobody ever includes black people in their culture celebration, but everyone else seems to get pressed if black people don't include them in their cultures celebration.... I just don't get it 🤷🏾♂️
Whether it's Juneteenth or not, WE AS BLACK PPL DON'T HAVE TO INVITE ANYONE TO ANYTHING!!!!!!! You'll never catch us feeling a way about being apart of any other cultural celebrations. The issue is our shit really us the wave abs everyone wants to grab their surfboard. Move around with the entitlement.
Your homeboy told you it was a Juneteenth Event! Then you went on to confuse Juneteenth with the Oklahoma Massacre. Just say you fucked up and move on.
Dude, it was more than that not just Juneteenth about not wanting Black people to get reparations, about not knowing black history about not knowing who was on stage performing. He literally didn’t know anything. Move on to him worrying about his own culture 😂 😂
Juneteenth is not emancipation day for Blacks. It symbolizes the day when the last town of Black slaves were informed that the Emancipation Proclamation was signed. Slavery became illegal in the US with the passage of the 13th Amendment 6 months after Juneteenth. Why is it that whenever Black people celebrate unity or show unity there's arguments about why other cultures are not asked to join in? When other cultures celebrate their unity I don't hear them asking Black people to join in. It's ok to celebrate yourselves with people who look like you. Every culture show be allowed to do that freely.
Because they don’t wanna see us unify because unity brings power and we are more powerful than they will ever fucking be. We as a people just have to come to the realization.!! I love us and we are getting there. But it’s gonna be a lot of pushback, which is weird but we ready. We standing on business…
came looking for this comment. even his efforts to educate himself were half-assed. it's not about the emancipation, it's about the efforts to suppress the news and keep people enslaved despite the signing. I think that's where his confusion about "I thought it was the 16th" came from. on top of that, he said himself the concert was a victory lap over drake. did he listen to any of the tracks? the biggest issue was about drake profiting on Black culture but not contributing. so, did this guy contribute to Black culture? did he unify Black gangs in LA? did he even support Kendrick with the personal aspects in the beef? so why would he or any Latinos take part in this victory lap, let alone a Juneteenth celebration.
It wasn’t taken out of context, You didn’t know a lot! You didn’t know it was a holiday, you didn’t know the date of the holiday, you didn’t know what the holiday was for, you didn’t know who performed, you didn’t even know the show was being streamed on Amazon. Do your research before making an opinion. You had a computer right in front of you, a google search would have saved you a lot of embarrassment.
LEAVING YA OUT? 1 IT WAS A JUNETEENTH EVENT 2 EYEKON DIDNT EVEVN KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THE SHOW! WHY WASNT ANYONE THERE LIKE EVERYONE ELSE SUPPORTING AND ENJOYING THE SHOW? HOW U GONNA FEEL UNDERREPRESENTED AND YA DIDNT EVEN KNOW ENOUGH ABOUT IT TO EVEN EWANNA REPRESENT? TFOHERE
IT WASN'T TAKEN "OUT OF CONTEXT" YOU WERE JUST SPEAKING ON SOMETHING YOU DIDN'T DO YOUR RESEARCH ON!! it's your fault and this halfhearted apology that's mixed with doubling down ain't it, Dude!! You leave it alone so it'll die down 💯
There is no black and brown alliance at all. I’m from Cali born in Cali raised in Cali. They’re just as racist as white people. Black people have no friends let’s be clear.
Fasho it open there eyes a lot I got people in Philly n Detroit....and honestly they calling plays not letting y'all settle..RU-vid exposed a lot of how y'all move when y'all think y'all got the numbers. ...and y'all hella disrespectful but be on dick....this country ain't fuckn wit y'all...not the blacks not the culture ...keep yo apology bra ...u just want to be in hop hop
Facts but like I been saying this dude purposely said what he said for clicks and views just to get his channel to grow 😂😂 I mean he a literal nobody I mean I'm from So cal and I never heard of this clown but best believe when he said what he said I was fucking heated the disrespect I felt for my friends and in laws who are black smh
This was a BIG L for you! This was to show unity for FBAs coming together and no violence in celebration of Juneteenth. Kendrick even says “They say we couldn’t do it!” Meaning without violence. You’re sad bro, I’m not even sure I should be calling you bro. In words of Joey “ You got to do better “ 😂
So, instead of an apology, we get a lot of “lame”excuses and the realization that this dude reacts to posts, not information. Zero critical thinking uploading. Good to know. 🤦🏾♀️ The statement was not taken out of context, you said what you said and now you’ve doubled down on it. We don’t owe you anything- whether it was or was not Juneteenth. You could’ve kept that weak-a$$ statement. ✋🏾
@@915Sammyboy23 the fact that you’re so loud about being unoriginal, mediocre, jealous and having no pride in who you are to the point you want to take from those you envy. Are you not embarrassed? You should be.
Sheesh, this is the problem with entitlement within HipHop. Even though you didn’t know what Juneteenth was you still sounded bitter about the lack of inclusion.
Ain’t no Black and Brown outside of Cali. Black Americans in the south are aware. Y’all get y’all numbers up and start thinking y’all run something. That’s why in the south we ain’t playing no games with y’all.
It’s any group that comes in large numbers, especially from Latin America. As soon as their numbers rise u wil see what we been saying a long time in California. Look at every city with a major mexican population next to blacks. They keep quiet until then numbers go up just like here they weren’t a threat until the borders got open now they act like they mob bosses
I'm from Texas and as far back as I could remember we have always celebrated Juneteenth. Shit in TYC Texas Youth Commission. They would give us chicken and watermelon on Juneteenth. I ain't even lying 😂😂
This shit not viral you don’t know wtf you be talking about. Hip hop is our shit we don’t have to rep yall on Juneteenth get tf outta here. Keep that same energy don’t switch up now
Even if it wasn't a Juneteenth event, Mexicans didn't need to be there. This dude is basically saying that Black people can't get together and have a big rap event in Inglewood without including Mexicans. LOL
Yeah bro we live in an era where there is no reason for not knowing anything. I mean, I know what Cinco de Mayo is. 🤷🏾♂️ this is why it's important to read and question everything folks
@@tuttifrutti2642 now you’re sounding racist. Trying to connect black people to random acts of violence you’re seeing on the news. Keep on babbling so the world can keep seeing the ignorance.
Just shows that some people shouldn’t go on podcast to share their thoughts with the universe. Also if this was an apology “I’m sorry” would have sufficed. Your ignorance did more harm than good, and that’s to your own community.
This was half ass apology, you mentioned Juneteenth, so you knew, but you didn’t care. And Kendrick did not have to include anyone he didn’t want to. Still screams entitlement..
All these vatos crying to adam22, kendrick, the hip hop scenes about not being accepted like crybabies. Nobody owes you nothing acting like some damn hynas
Sheeeit, peep what the vatos are saying about Left Gunplay is saying about his kid and black men. Now fools wanna turn around and cry about not being invited to this event?? 😂😂 It’s on sight alllll the time with those busters. Shout out to the real heads, black and brown, that KNOW the truth
It was taking for how it was.You talking bout Mexican being persecuted in this country in the same sentence as Juneteenth was complete blasphemy. And this is coming from Florida.
Exactly!! He was trying to play the oppression Olympics. If you are so pressed, create an event for your people to be represented and stop trying to step on our celebration!! Black people don’t owe him nothing!
I find it interesting tht there is little sensitivity to the approach in convo when it's about black people or their experiences. SORRY or I APOLOGIZE....would have been an excellent way to start this video....but confusion and more hole digging is your goal. Instead of being a "part" of the unity... you chose further division between our communities..."Not Like Us".....and its okay ....cuz you and the crew seemed the least excited to even have a part in the conversation anyway.
Even if it was Cinco de Mayo and BLK folks took the time to show up to my concert I WOULDA SHOUTED Y'ALL OUT.. and y'all couldn't even shoutout Latinos for showing up to support y'all?? I see how y'all are
Listen THEY, what Mexican Concert can even pull thousands of Blacks? The truth is we are not entitled & at the same time we know there is no coalition. Why do Mexicans want blacks to shout them out???Just why?
@@Alfonso7872why does he have to shout people out? There was people of ALL races there. Was he supposed to shout out every race in the building? Everyone was there as ONE…not as a representative of their race. Nobody took offense until Eyekon made it a situation. Now it’s become some silly argument when it didn’t have to be. This was for the city, and if it brings more light to the city then it’s good for everyone INCLUDING Latinos. Yall are being sensitive and short sighted.
@@theonewhoknocks3107 don't YOU like recognition for any attributes or contributions that you make?..since ALL races were there maybe your right He shoulda said a Quick shout out to ALL since everyone bought a ticket to show up in support. When have you seen dot kickin it with a bunch of ese’s? Yall acting like this is going to make it harder to get on the next pop out. This ain’t the way to unify bruh, this only causes issues.
Juneteenth or not, you're not entitled to be there. It was coming together of Black sections with no issues. You guys don't invite us when you all come together, so what makes you think that Mexicans or Latinos should have been on stage? Also if you're going to speak on something at least know what you're talking about, in regards to said event or topic. Take the L and move on.
It Wasn't Taken Out Of Contest... You Were Just Wrong And Didn't Know What You Were Talking About And Felt Like You Had A Valid Opinion In Your Ignorance. And Your Apology Just Seem Like You Trying To Do Damage Control For Being Loud & Wrong. And You Still 70% Wrong About What Juneteenth Is SMH😆.
What kills me is how he came off him and his entire panel started the conversation then when he started with the crying the other ones let him sink himself 😂😂😂 bro my mom is from Panama 🇵🇦 she’s a black Hispanic we celebrated Juneteenth you la Mexicans are different the ones in Brooklyn where I’m from be lit with all cultures I came t la once remind you I speak fluent Spanish these mofos still tried speaking English to me knowing there English is bad at those tacos stands they couldn’t believe a black man could speak so well or if Afro people aren’t in the Latin diaspora smfh Ariba la razza homes 😂😂😂😂
He says Mexicans weren't represented, but they were represented, OhGeesy even rapped onstage, he thought this was a Christmas event, but this was a Juneteenth event, he says he thought the blacks came over from Tulsa Oklahoma, but they came from LA, I mean what the hell? 🤣😂😅😆😂
Why is he lying he literally knew it was about Juneteenth… he just didn’t know what it was about… he was running his mouth and got caught up disrespecting the very culture he is a guest in. Ur statement was ignorant and entitled
Honestly it really annoys me when other groups feel like Black ppl owe them representation. Juneteenth was specifically about Black American freedom from slavery. It’s clear that y’all don’t really care about us cuz if you did, you would’ve at least done your research. Y’all only care about the clout you can receive from our plight. Also, even if it weren’t a Juneteenth celebration, this is about Kendrick and his friends. HIS COMMUNITY. Y’all aren’t entitled to an invitation. I said what I said.
Even if it was Cinco de Mayo and BLK folks took the time to show up to my concert I WOULDA SHOUTED Y'ALL OUT.. and y'all couldn't even shoutout Latinos for showing up to support y'all?? I see how y'all are
@@Alfonso7872 sigh* you’re proving exactly what many of us feel. We don’t need to applaud y’all for showing up. You choose to show up if you want to show up. No one’s going to kick you out. But if it’s a show specifically uplifting Black ppl, why would we shout out Latinos? It makes no sense whatsoever. I think many POC don’t understand that we’re not disrespecting you by not acknowledging you during a time when we’re celebrating Black liberation. If Latinos choose to acknowledge us during their celebration, cool deal. But no one will be offended if you don’t cuz it’s not about us. I’m sorry, we don’t have to give you a proverbial cookie for showing up. And frankly, y’all barely acknowledge the Black ppl in your own community. So it’s not about how “we” are. It’s about us doing our own thing. And on top of that, it’s highly disrespectful to feel entitled for a shout out when you don’t even know the true meaning of the celebration.
Juan this goofy only got 4k views so 🤷🏾 whether he’s trolling or not he did not help relations and actually helped us to delineate which im happy about.
@TheStreetFoolosopherMr187 There were several raids there to find slaves who knew how to cultivate rice and they were shipped to the Carolinas or Mexico. The grain never existed in these regions before the arrival of slaves

Blaming editing and saying it was taken outta context is crazy work. Not knowing what Juneteenth was and being outraged that you were under represented in it is embarrassing. I think that’s the bigger point they’re missing. That was people HE is cool with lol! If he had hella Latino rap friends, I’m sure they would be there. If anything this opens up the conversation for both communities to do more work together. Maybe at the next pop out they’ll be a bigger mix.
Own it. You said what you said loud and wrong. Your context and clarity mean nothing. It wasn’t a Juneteenth concert per se however if you woke up to post do your research Google is free. Many of us watched the whole thing. You spoke on something you didn’t know.
