I can only pray this game gets a sequel. It’s repetitive at times, but with modern tech, they wouldn’t even need the weird face scan stuff they used here to do the facial animations and there’s so many things they could do with this idea.

I want Chicago noire and Miami noire now maybe even new York noire all can take place same year as la noire just different characters with different personalities and backstory but all rockstar cares about now is GTA 5 rereleases and GTA online I miss the rockstar that made games like bully and manhunt

I wish they make a sequel with current technology and next gen only. RDR2 was released on ps4/xone so imagine what they could achieve with l.a noir 2 designed for ps5/Series. First one was solid game, story was good, idea was great, there is few things that got transferred to later rockstars games but you can clearly see that the technology to get full potential wasn’t there yet. It was released in the middle of 7th gen lifespan. Between titles like red dead redemption, max Payne and GTA. Didn’t really had its own identity, it was “open world” so was compared to GTA 4 and rdr but where you play as the “good guy”. It was open world but more like mafia open word. It was following linear story but because of open world it wasn’t max Payne story driven action game. Faces looked amazing on trailers but I’m actuall gameplay they were unnatural, very obvious and limited. With current technology it’s a potential blockbuster but back then it was just solid game but would rate it 7.5/10 which is quite low for rockstar standards.
