For experts, this is a new sign of climate change affecting the planet. Bangkok, the capital, threatened by rising waters, river floods and land that sinks every year, could well experience the fate of the mythical Atlantis. Professor Anond, climate expert, is struggling to convince his fellow citizens that we must leave the most fragile areas. The sea has already swallowed up villages. But other scourges threaten the country: rice fields are suffering from rising temperatures, insects and rats are multiplying there. And droughts last longer, causing concern among farmers.
