I love that you don't rush to get a review up on a new product as soon as it is out and that you actually do give it a go on more than one occasion. A lot of the other beauty gurus just want to be the first to review a product whereas that isn't a priority for you - an honest review is. You have saved me a lot of money over the years (and cost me a lot of money too), but they have all been brilliant purchases. Thank you Emily x

Hi Emily! I'm so glad you reviewed this product, I was really wondering about it! I'm at an age where I like to blur as much as possible, (lol!) but all of those types of foundation never stay put, and make me an oily mess! Not all mature skin is dry, I'm as oily as I was in my 20's. Anyway, thanks for the review, you saved me some time and money with this one.

Another Great Review. I have never had any luck with Loreal foundations & this isn't one that I will try now either. It's good that it provides pretty good coverage though, but doesn't sound like the staying power is great. Thanks for sharing this with us, I know I can always rely on your honest opinions on products. You look gorgeous as always Emily. I mix this foundation with the Estee Lauder Double Wear. It gives a full coverage that looks like silk. Great combo!

I like this foundation a lot. You would be right, I have very dry skin, and it's awesome! It lasts all day for me as long as I use a loose powder on top. Love u!

I have dry skin and I like this foundation but, it literally disappears on me after about 2 hours. Great review and I agree I won't be repurchasing. The blush and concealers are better but not a repurchase either for me. ♥ Elle

I totally agree, Elle! I have combo skin, and this stuff turns to straight OIL on my T-zone, and makes my dry spots LOOK oily! Then I'm left with a shiny face, and barely anything left to cover it. Will not be repurchasing (or using) again :(

Really enjoyed this! I made the mistake of getting several of these and had a similar experience. I used it on my niece I applied to a primed face with some color correcting concealer on. I used a brush to apply generally then went in with a moist beauty blender. I don't recommend applying with a spunge it just take too much away. It also doesn't seem to set, I had to set the first layer with powder then applied second with a stipple brush to get a fuller coverage. My niece complained that she "felt" the makeup the whole day. So even after setting it with powder and mist and set, the foundation never set. I would not recommend for warmer climates, and I know basically use it more like bb cream or tinted moisturizer? I apply a matte fuller coverage foundation over it.

I use this product and I absolutely love it. My experience with it is simply this.. It make my face look flawless and I'm 43! It doesn't last all day but I must say with a touch up if powder or the nyx setting spray it does marvelously. It's a great product for a great price. Bare Minerals Bare skin is also fabulous but we're talking different price range.

I have combo skin and i really enjoyed it for evening out my skin i do set it wit powder and it last through my 8 hr shifts pretty good. It doesnt cover much acne skars if you hav that i have pretty clear skin so it worked for me loving it :) !

i almost bought this foundation today, until i watched this review...& just for the point of it. i tested the sample on the back of my hand and it was SOOOO shimmery i was honestly shocked how absolutely almost GLITTER this stuff looked in the natural daylight...needless to say i was not pleased at ALL with this one between your review, and the fact that i looked a little disco-y in sunlight! thanks for all these reviews, they are a total life saver!

Hi Emily, have you considered trying the Kevyn Aucoin Sensual Skin Enhancer? It is the most full coverage product I have ever tried (and I've tried a lot!) A tiny dot spreads so far, so don't let the expensive price sway you, the pot will last forever! xx

hi Emily could you recommend a foundation that will hold up to menopausal sweats? many people get anti oil and anti sweat mixed up! it's a completely different thing. i feel water proof doesn't necessarily mean sweat proof either due to the chemical found in perspiration. If any of the viewers reading this know of anything apart from cement lol please i welcome any suggestions at this point.

Totally off topic here, but I noticed in your before shot that you have slightly uneven top lip and you do an amazing job on filling your top lip in. Do you have a tutorial on how you do that please? I am almost 50 now and have a very thin top lip and every time I have tried to compensate for it with lip liner and lipstick etc I end up looking like a Botox job gone horribly wrong!

I have this foundation and I actually really like it. I have normal to dry skin, normal right now at this time of the year but it will start to get dry as it gets colder out. I set it with mac msf natural and find it lasts a whole long school day, about 8 hours from the time I put it on in the morning until when i get home. It actually surprises me how it still looks intact and well after the whole day. I don't touch my face much and try to not rub it off. When I get home it seems the slightedy but dewy but that's because of humidity here, not because of oils or the foundation, and for having dryer skin i actually like that a little bit. I can fix that with a little more Mac msf natural to powder after 8 hours and it looks fine. Don't let one review make you think otherwise. If you have a good primer, setting powder, and finishing spray and have slightly oily, but mostly normal to dry skin, it could probably work for you. It's at least worth a try, and if not return it. Don't knock it until you try it! That's just my opinion about this foundation, love it :)

Emily can you do a bridal look with the Este Lauder Moisture wear. With a little color in the eyes and on the lip. I am getting married next year and I am going to start using the Moisture wear to work on my makeup look now.
