Great lecture! I am also a student in CMU. After listen this, I felt more clear about the distributed system.

Thank you. 8:11 I love how in almost every discipline you can say "everything is an X!". E.g. in numerical optimization, they say "look, everything is an optimization problem". In Economics, they say "everything is a question of supply and demand". Maths can say it, physics can say it, chemistry, biology, psychology can say it etc. etc... Even music. ;) They all have something going for them, but it might also be a bit of "if all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail".
