I'm considering making a guide on classes but life keeps getting in the way, so it won't be anytime soon, sorry.

If the server has Manor enabled then starting a Bounty Hunter is close to useless, as any yield you get from your Spoil abilities is completely eclipsed by the yield people get from Manor. A single seed can reach tens of hours of farm as a BH. For instance someone could get 10k Animal Bones from their 3 hour Manor farm (planting seeds and then killing the mob), whereas for a BH it would take a week to farm that amount. Meanwhile there's no alternative to the warsmith's crafting abilities. And it's the main driver of the economy at the end of the day. However if the server has Manor disabled, or the server admins have Manor nerfed in some major way (they usually list it in the server description), then starting a Bounty Hunter is a good idea. But it will only come around profitable past level 52-54. Though once you get there, you can make some decent money. And while you're at it, get your BH to level 65 or so to be able to spoil out parts of A grade gear (e.g. on Animal Farm), which has high value even after the Manor kicks in on the server.

I don't think I'm competent enough to speak for C4 as I've never properly studied its economy, but my go to plan would be to start as a summoner (the most economy-independent class) and see from there how the lack of shadow weapons affects mages and how it affects the C-grade shot market. If the mages are relatively unaffected then I'd play as a Necromancer above all else. If the C and B grade shot markets are oversaturated (profitability per crystal versus just selling the crystal is less than 3-5 adena per shot) then I wouldn't bother starting a dwarf until much later into the server.

@@tingz2719 hey! thank you for the reply!! i think you're right, mages are the way to go!! i've seen quite few people solo farm AOE with mage classes, more actually than warrior classes. and after asking in the server forums, seems like majority of dwarfs are farming catas with a party, not solo farm, so i think the right call would be to focus on a Necro! cheers and thanks again!

I don't think I have access to them anymore but either way they were tailored too hard to the specific server I was playing. It was nothing special anyway, you can create your own easily.

Just could save some time. In the past created Age of Wonders 1 full stats of all units in sheets, so it's no problem for me. Already created a draft here. That's it then. Take care.

It can be any level really, even 80. It's just that you get the highest boost in terms of skills and passives at level 40 after turning in the profession.

For catacombs yes. Some good catacomb setups would be, in this order: aoe melee (destroyer > dwarves > warlord (niche class)) + buffer (warcryer > prophet (niche class)) + heal (ee > se (niche class) > bishop) + blade dancer + non-aoe melee with a spear (dagger classes, knights, tyrant, all the rest) + warlock ... My comment about aoe leveling as a necro was regarding farming halved mobs, for example in skyshadow meadow, etc. Mages in general are bad for catacombs because they struggle with x-mobs. Though I think it's possible to level a CDL necro or spellhowler, but maybe in gracia final or thereabouts, definitely not in interlude.

That's some great insight, thank you for your answer. I got one additional question though. Will destro be able to do catacombs solo...? I really like your idea with deleveled dwarf. I am wondering if that wouldn't be considered as an exploit on the server. Lol. :) playing on the roborn x3 right now from the scratch and trying to find some way to farm money. Doing not bad with my 23 lvl wizard human, doing mob trains and killing them with flame strike. It works good, but i wonder how it will be later, because i don't have adena for gear. I think i need to make two dwarfs to spoil and craft. It will be a looong boring grind with those dwarfs i think. xD

@@cinek8951 you can do the deleveling route with destroyer as well, and with warlord too in fact. It's just handier with a dwarf because of the weight limits, so that you can comfortably carry a ton of hp potions. But maybe it's an overoptimisation since you'd be going back for a rebuff every hour anyway. It's actually very easy to level a dwarf, especially if you can find an academy with a castle or a clan hall in either giran/dion or in stuttgard/rune. The route I was using for my dwarves is this: i.imgur.com/ZXaGMRX.jpeg (up to level 55 just in case, though you only need 52 crafter to crystallise B + craft B shots, and you only need level ~43 for the deleveled farm) - swap between sword (highest dps) and blunt (for those vulnerable to blunts) early on and then just stick to a spear. If you don't have any academy whatsoever then it would be harder unless you have a friend who can buff you or off-party heal you (keep in mind that you need to cast aoe spells before they cast their heal or else they'll aggro everything). But it's still possible with the ww+haste potions, I'd just sit in each respective spot until the mobs are dark blue, which is slower. Back when reborn was x1 it took me 2 days (with no adena investment in gear) to level a dwarf from 0 to 43, one with the giran castle buff, and the other with a stuttgard ch buff, and then a few more days until 55. I think if you know how to it may be possible to do this in just 3 days on x3, but I haven't played on x3 in a while so I can't tell. Also this leveling in general will bring you a ton of money in case you don't need to buy anything for the dwarf, for example if you already have a brigantine top/bottom or if you already have C heavy gear on one of your alts that you can borrow. Otherwise you won't have that much money up front but you will be able to buy brigantine top+bottom, then crystallise it and buy luxury C grade (composite), and then when you're done leveling either sell it or sell the crystals from it. Edit: small clarification on the route I linked - if you have neither the academy buff nor the C grade gear, you may be better off doing 43-48 under ivory tower with a 2h blunt on golems (both types) and whatever else is in the cycle (usually gargoyls). Also I forgot to mention that you can stay in the academy for as long as you want instead of graduating at 40 by turning in your profession quest. You can do the profession quest (while buffed too) then go back to leveling all in C grade up until ~48 or so. About there you'll start really missing not having the 2nd profession spear ability, so it becomes faster to graduate, level the new spear ability and go back to leveling with ww+haste pots. Also make sure nobody notices that you're staying in the aca for so long after hitting 40 :D

Give a guy a break. This is great content for such an old game. It could be that in Russian language there very little difference between gnome and dwarf.

As the other person said they are indeed translated as gnomes to Russian and for some reason I never got around to fact check it. Now that I did, indeed the correct name is dwarves from korean 드워프 (image search 리니지2 드워프) and not 금언 (the image search brings nothing of L2). And as the other guy also said Russian doesn't have any distinction between the two because the native folklore doesn't feature those races and the Tolkien "world view" never stuck around here. For that reason we use dwarf/gnome interchangeably and when it comes to games like WoW people constantly confuse the two.

Basically you are wrong , both races come from Tolkien lore and especially in this era from DnD , do your research first before you cry out ur wow bs. Have a nice day.

All of you ar ewrong, dwarfs and gnomes are different, and their history comes obviously not from something new ike WoW. not from Tolkien, but from even far older writers. Research and learn, before you write or speak some bullshit.

P.S. However, the confusion and mess with these 2 races is still going strong all over the world. In some literature and games they are confused so much that one becmes the other. The great game, where it's right, are few, one of those is "Arcanum".

You don't lose anything from deleveling in interlude. I think you do in high five or thereabouts. If your interlude pserver makes you lose skills or skill levels when you delevel, you should contact a GM and report unorthodox behaviour.

Normally u loose skills after -6 lvl, used to lvl destro to 46 then delvl to 40 for AQ, otherwise u could lvl it to 78 and then delvl, that wont work. Edit: nice guide for the rest, was just lisening to ur voice while cooking etc (>
