Having had a broken camera for some time I recently saw this video and decided to order the kit. Previous kits I had seen elsewhere involved soldering, etc and put me off. This kit arrived and was pretty easy to fit when you follow the guidance very carefully. I’d recommend the kit and beats the £250+ LR want just for a replacement camera part, let alone the fitting! If your camera is broken, I can recommend this kit and the online support that luxury landrover upgrades offer.

If you have a pre-existing camera on your RR then it will work. goto www.luxurylandroverupgrades.com because there is a verison 2 out now which is a full unit. no need to take apart your old unit and the new unit has a wide field of view. its £120.
I currently dont have a back up camera. If i install your camera will it work or do i need an interface? Or does the camera video and ground go right to the back of the screen?
if your l322 is before 2006 and didnt come with a rear camera as standard then you will need to do some extra work to get this camera to work. any models which are 2006+ are simply plug and play. there are alot of upgrades on luxurylandroverupgrades.com for earlier models of range rover though so take a look .
@@devil2005iscool Mine is a l320 2006 without rear camera. I do have dvd box under driver seat. Will the extra work just require a fakra to rca and coding to unlock the rear camera function? Thanks!
@@ants00 I dont own a L320 so i couldnt tell you but i imagine given 10 minutes with one i could create a full solution for you. if you message me on www.luxurylandroverupgrades.com then i could offer you a solution but it will take a little time since i will need to source a DVD player from an L320 or borrow an l320 to create something.

After having this $69 camera sitting in my garage for months I finally installed it last weekend. I am not impressed. The only "upgrade" I can see is the inclusion of lines showing where your tires would go and some distance indication. The image is so washed out that often I cannot see these lines. I don't think the camera image quality is any better than my original camera which stopped working so don't get too excited about what you will see. I contacted Luxury Range Rover Upgrades about the poor image and they suggested I buy their version 2 of the camera which comes complete in the housing. Just plug and play. They would take back my $69 camera and i would pay the difference in price. Thinking about this but will experiment with some polarizing filter over the camera first.

This camera is version 1 and requires users to install it into the housing themselves, If the piece of glass on the inside of he housing is not cleaned properly or the user has not sealed it properly then the image will become hazy and it down to the user installing it to ensure that they have performed the installation well. With version 2 (wide angle lens full unit) and Version 3 (night vision full unit) These units are full complete units and it is recommended that customers purchase the Version 2 or Version 3 model as there is no chance of wrongful installation and/or condensation causing hazyness due to improper installation. Luxury land rover upgrades want to offer this camera still for 64.99 as some people are not in a financial position during covid-19 to purchase the 120 and 145 counterparts and we wish to keep everybody included which is why we offer upgrades to all customers if they ever want to upgrade to a newer version later down the line. Our original customers are important to us and offering this to customers is a way they can keep their Land rovers upgraded and updated as much as they are able to afford and see fit.
