If its a street fight 60% depends on technique and rest on fighter

MMA is especialy good in street fights, and karate more in controled enviroment and tournaments... But still mma on top overall

@@MrKruska11 I disagree. I have a friend who fights in the Octagon, he said that he use to have an ego problem and got in a street fight with someone who did Karate. My friend swears that he was completely destroyed by the Karate man and from that he learned to control his ego.

To be a complete fighter you need to learn as many martial arts possible..Also the more we train the more we participate the more know how much we all need to learn.

Outstanding, I really enjoyed this. Performance of both men was remarkable here and are clearly very dedicated and well-trained martial artists and athletes. I also very much appreciated the production value that went into the clip; the visuals, angles, sound and lighting; it was all very cinematic and artistically shot. I'd love so see more of something just like this, especially from a karate perspective. Cheers ~

Gam3r_PlayZ no they don’t they teach upper ground control jiu jitsu teaches you ground control boxing is upper I’d prefer boxing and jiu jitsu than karate

OfficialNot Squidd well that’s what they taught me. Plus a lot of modern karate now gets mixed in with some Jiu Jitsu grappling and Judo throws. Boxing is pretty good but in a fight to the death I prefer Karate since it was designed to kill before being calmed down with techniques such as throat strikes like thrusting your fingers into someone’s throat and even other kind of different strikes to the throat.

Gam3r_PlayZ taking a life is easier than saving a life I’d prefer jiu jitsu because you can tell then to calm down if you have them in a armbar because if they get up and continue to fight get him in a submission again

Mma is not a martial art it's a sport where different fighters from different styles compete with one another here u can learn wrestling, kickboxing, BJJ, judo, tkd, muaythai fighters may be a specialist in 1 style or 2 so Mma has the advantage over a karate fighter

Cuándo entenderán que las MMA no son disciplina sino una modalidad de combate que se ajusta al mercado? Un karateca y cualquier artista marcial no tradicional podría ser peleador de MMA si fuese heterodoxo y también aprendiera a luchar en piso. Por cierto el de MMA (salvo que sepa un grappling muy básico) le hubiese ganado en el piso.
