You could have tried to go around the level 3 trigger that lifts the drawbridge. Takes a bit of time but surely is faster than waiting for the event. Also, why didn't you vote back to Expert on the finale? Because then it doesn't match your description.

And i kept it on easy for the final, with gascans. You can see that i'm being hit a lot.

How is this a world record? Do others recognize this as a world record? Also, why is a portion ran on Easy?

if your talking about the bridge part... He probably put it on Easy or lower difficulty due to how many commons there were if he'd had left it on Expert he wouldn't of been able to progress

Why couldn't he have progressed? He plays the game slowed down to half the normal speed.

Well he's playing Expert with Realism enabled and with them two it is kinda difficult, and you saw yourself how many commons there were minus the Specials...

He only got hit a few times, it would have been easy to manage the commons better than he did.

Ok, give you that but c'mon admit it if you've ever played L4D2 on Expert and realism you can see why he needed to lower difficulty
