It would have been amazing if L4D2 versus mode was like an esports type of thing, and still going on to this day. I would have been watching it non-stop.

Competitive L4D2 randomly came across my mind so I'm rewatching all these old tournys and I must say, the nostalgia is real right now haha it's such a shame the competitive scene didn't last because I really enjoy watching this content.. I don't know why in 2020 I decided to search for competitive L4D2 but I was not disappointed. I hope an eventual L4D3 gets its versus properly off the ground like so many other Valve titles.

most times I try to play versus, I get kicked by team of 3, I get the “comp” side of this game but is versus a competitive game mode? If so I never knew! But couldn’t even get any games in online cause so many “good players” keep kicking me and I’m not even bad I’m actually decent but why is the people that still play so toxic

Great vid/commentary. its pretty ez to bhop with 64 tickrate servers, just more "clunky" but yeah Bhop/ladderglitch is disabled. Surprised some basic tech play most of these players are missing. Played against both these teams a lot, but literally nobody was fast-switching with melees (ie: l4d2's quickscoping), i hope it wasn't simply unawareness. Didn't know srs actually did something outside spamming 20 hr kids. Sadly, pretty readable infected play by both teams. Getting split up easily by spit is pretty sad outside casual play. Worst attempt at a draw-crown ever 18:12 lol... Overall silly and sloppy. SRS needs way more work. Not even close to top level play. 23:00 Lol? Zeon, some bad BAD shit, but still like reversing trolly pubstars (tool/remix, lul don't stop carrying them) Always a pleasure to rekk dny/srs

i wish b4b was as good as this i atleast had some fun playing b4b but its just nowhere near as good as l4d and the card system is just bad i dont think its a bad idea but for l4d i dont think it works l4d thrives on teamwork but in b4b you can just leave your team behind and solo the level oh you got grabbed? Breakout oh your losing health? lifesteal and i played swarm as well i had some fun with it but its just not nearly as fun as l4d b4bs swarm kinda just sucks anyways I've been playing project nexus recently good game thats all.
