hahaha that's awesome, L7 was to loud for their own show! Donita Sparks told me once "you don't play to be famous...you play to ROCK"! And she lives it! I fucking love this band!
brings back memories of being shut down for playing and being too loud, getting kicked out of apartments, having the cops called... hard to believe this would happen in a club... wtf?
To answer your questions.....Donita and Dee are working on their second album as the Stellar Moments last I heard. This info came to me through Dee's husband whom I speak with every now and then. Precious (Jennifer Finch) and I also speak from time to time and as she has had varrious wrist surgeries over the past few years she only does charity gigs. Last I knew, Marky Ramone and Lemmy of Motorhead were playing with her for a few charity gigs, but that was prob. two years ago.
Sorry, other comment ran out of room. Janis Tanaka was a good friend of mine for quite some time, then she got married and we began to loose touch. I speak to her every once in a while now, but her husband passed away suddenly at the end of last year. Suzi is the big one nobody hears about. She's content living "with the guitar under the bed" with her current boyfriend and producing his first album. Shes not interested in playing anymore and likes her privacy.
@katwomynL7 So, have you talked to donita really? That was recently, or before l7 split up? Do you talked with her about other l7 members? I dont know what has happened to Suzy Garder since 2000...Has she Gotten married, kids?? Does she has a new band?? she suddenly dissapeared...NEED TO KNOW! :(
