@Crazydogzep Just remember to give the paint plenty of time to dry in between coats. 2 coats is fine, and give the first coat a good 48 hours or so to dry thoroughly otherwise the paint might wrinkle on the 2nd coat. The double eagle one is pretty easy to disassemble too. The rear pin comes out which lets the upper receiver hinge upwards, then take out 2 screws from the pistolgrip, then one more pin which holds the gearbox in, and that's pretty much it. Everything else can be unscrewed out.
@GruntGuy thank you so much for the information! I didn't know that you had to wait that long but that's fine. I am getting the materials tomorrow. You are right about how easy it is to disassemble the double eagle though but in the g&g version, you only have to pull out 1 pin and that's it. If you want when I am done, I can maybe do a review on the gun/paint job if i can borrow a camera from a friend. (if iI do that I will give you credit)
Hey, I've always wondered, how do Airsoft Shotguns work? Do they fire out multyple pellets at a time, like real shotguns? Or do they only fire one shot at a time?
@WasGehtApp yes its the gas version you can tell because at 2:39-2:42 if you watch the breach as he reloads you can see the bolt move back and the chamber is revealed, this only happens with gas guns as spring guns have to have a very long bolt to hold the spring so when reloading the breach does not open
@Crazydogzep I'm the one with the UMP in this vid. As someone else mentioned, you need to take it apart and paint the separate pieces. I handed it over to a friend who's well experienced at disassembling and painting guns and got him to paint the upper receiver, aimpoint, and vertical grip in Coyote Brown. He (and most other people) use Krylon Fusion paint because it sticks best to the plastic. Another option is to use Plastikote paint.
@sdably you're incorrect. The Warrior L96 is "spring powered" (in quotes because in most guns the power comes from a spring). Note the lack of a visible magazine. Also, after the times you mentioned you can plainly see that when the bolt is cocked the chamber is not revealed.
So, Scout. do you have any help recording these, or do you just edit them to seem as if you are covering multiple perspectives at one time. Or do you have super human abilities, which is probably more likely.
@TheLastSliceOfPie google fort ord -- its in the bay area and is an old outdoor/indoor actual army barracks its freakin awesome -- also there is galt, ca -- waterford, ca, -- and like at least 5 other large and awesome outdoor fields. there are videos of galt and fort ord here on youtube for sure
@GruntGuy Thx for the information man. Since I have not painted any airsoft guns yet, I was not really sure what paint to use until now. I think the g&g model is easier to disassemble than the double eagle version though so I might be able to do it myself. Both great guns though!
Hey Scout, do you know what type of ammo Mark was using for his L96? I have the same gun and recently got .26gs in favor of my .20gs, so I just want go see if I got the best bang for my buck.
hey scout i really appriciate your work. but i got a question. maybe if you would give me permission to download 1 of you're movies so i could edit it to a action film??
@Aggressivesk8r10 It does not matter what I do I get the same questions every single day over and over again, ever seen the movie Groundhog Day, well I live it via youtube questions.
I'm new to playin in woodsball airsoft and like real games ( i used to just fool around and shoot my friends) but I just got a new echo 1 and it is 400 fps is that about what other players use? 400fps
@fearthegeeklord why would you wanna do that? having a primary & secundary is already heavy enough. might carry a backup pistol on top of that but i wouldn't be like M4, shotgun, sniper and pistol all at once... you wouldn't last 10 mins.
