I barely listen to music in Spanish, aside from the classics that I picked up from my parents like Jose Jose & Juan Gabriel. But this speaks to my soul. I always find myself coming back.
I love the way they play and having a blast, Thats music right here......take it to the top guys...jajajajajaja Im getting drunk to this re playing over and over.....
Damn, so many people hating on Richie Valens. Get over it, he admired a Mexican folk song and made it rock n' roll, he didn't mess it up. People are weird. Are you also going to say this band messed it up because the original is not like this either.
La Bamba is a mexican folk song and in this piece is being played exactly how it was intended. Richie Valens (Richard Valenzuela), of Mexican origin himself, merely rearranged it to appeal to the pop music audience, which has been copied and covered by numerous others since.
Quelle belle musique.
Folk music by definition is open to great variety in variation. I prefer the traditional version but I respect what Richie Valenzuela was trying to do. I like the harp on this, but I have seen Paraguayan musicians do it better.
Wow your one tough modernized cookie your a not a home made cookie your' straight out of a professionally packaged Oreo box . Don't let people like shooter get to you there living in a world that gets kicks out of people like you. When your face to face with someone stand up and when your behind your computer sit down
la bamba is a son jarocho and this is not jarocho at all... plus, what ricardo valenzuela did with la bamba totally messed it up. and the bassline for the harp on this video is incorrect
The harp player is not even that good and paraguayos play different they play with their nails. The true and original style of this is al estilo veracruzano or jarocho you should really listen to some Mono Blanco or Andres Huesca
why dont you stay off the computer and keep working on evolving that thumb? its ignorant comments like that that keep you living in a cave and drawing on the walls instead of appreciating talant and beauty. HAVE A NICE DAY!
