I can’t believe it’s been 22 years since we lost Melanie Thornton in a plane crash. She was such a talented artist and was still so young with such a life ahead of her. I would’ve loved a La Bouche reunion if Melanie didn’t pass on. 💔🙏🏻
All you have to do is unplug from the digital realm that is ran by beasts and creatures. Simple life still exists. Real humans are still among us. We'll be here when you're ready.
@@erichall4222 I grew up listening to Anarcho-Punk music but 90s dance music, which is the era in which I was in school, I went to a social in 96 as a joke and was like What. Is. This!? They played The Real McCoy and La Bouche and I fell in love.
RIP Melanie Thorton she had such a powerful voice ... Clear and hitting the notes just right ... Taken too soon such great talent and to die in such tragic way it's not cool ...
***** She died back in like 2001 on a plane crash in Germany I believe ... It was a very tragic death. Google has more details I don't remember the exact date I think it was like Nov. 2001 or 2002 not really sure but other band members died as well as members of another pop German band
Brilliant music & talent! Thank you both, you two were an awesome duo! 90's FOREVER the best music...Still listening in 2019 and beyond! Melanie SIP in the heavens until we all meet again and dance!..
Found this song last month on MTV Classic. I fell asleep and woke up. The video was playing. Love at first hear. Great voice. Sad what happened to Melanie. 🙏
Rofl cassettes are u fucking serious or are u talking about Digital ones ? was it a compilation or something like that ??? Anyway La bouche never recorded on such shitty support, this was almost CD or Vynil for Dj's in 90'S. Just wanted to restore the truth xD
johann orion yes it was on cassette tapes,,I have it..so ur not restoring nothing,,u must b really young if u don't no that. .Google it and find out..,not homemade either..The real thing 😆it's on Amazon for $9.99,,ROFL..in 95' cassettes were still out there and selling very well that's when I bought it,,way back then✌
Being born in 89 whould have put you at a 6yr old child when this came out. I was 18 at the time dancing in the clubs to this music while you were barely reading. Your timeframe would be > 2002 music, whatever that was.
I was a '93 kid, so I was about 2 or so when this came out. But, my Mom listened to this type of music (other than drilling my head with nursery rhymes) while she was raising me. And I re-discovered the music of the 90s when I turned 12 or so. Wish I was older during that time frame!
+Chris P well, you do know what "growing up" and "as a kid" mean right? I mean, I was 5 when this music came out, and the very strange thing is that I had... PARENTS (fortunately I still do), and an older sister, and they listened to... Stuff (like music), you know, like in the car, on the TV, on the radio, etc... So I used to hear that kind of music all the time, not dancing in the club though I agree, I wish I could. You don't have that kind of memories too? I mean the 80's were full of good stuff too.
best music for RnB, rap & a few others too. best era ever glad Iived my teenage years during this time. Bright colour fashion good vibes & good people mainly.
God damn it, how I miss the 90's! If only I could go back in time...best period of my life! This song was on my mind all the time during that time; stunning tune!
I wasn't born in the 90's but... When I was little and went on the ""hardcore"" funfair rides, these types of songs were playing. I remind myself of the time of when I vibed too much...
+Albert Martinez I do too, and could you please tell me what happened to Melanie please. I missed it and just realized by some of the comments....What a loss!
+Connie Pennington Melanie Thornton was killed in the Crossair 3597 plane crash over Switzerland in 2001. Two members of PassionFruit..a girl group were also killed.
She has SUCH an amazing voice. I remember being in the 4th grade, just ENTRANCED by her voice, climbing onto the schoolbus... Then someone behind me kicking me to keep it moving xD
R.I.P Melanie. I didn't even know u had passed until I looked u up. You had a huge impact on my childhood in the late 90s, being in the Skating Rink every weekend hearing this song and the others La Bouche did.
@@christopherbriere1083 I used to ice skate and roller skate as I took ice skating lessons but not all my friends wanted to be in a cold ice rink even if the music was just as awesome as what they would hear at the roller rink..
OMG THIS TAKES ME BACK TO THE 90's WHEN I WAS IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL!!! THE GOOD OLD DAYS OF WATCHING BASED TV SHOWS, PLAYING VIDEO GAMES, SOCCER WITH FRIENDS, AND HANGING OUT AT THE MALL! Had this on my cassette player because I recorded it off the radio! PLAYED THIS NON-STOP EVERYWHERE!!! BEST SONG EVER! ❤❤
Sweet dreams of rhythm and dancing Sweet dreams of passion through the night Sweet dreams are taking me over Sweet dreams of dancing through the night I want to get into motion A better devotion So I can make it through the night So the music is playing You know what I'm saying Now everything will be alright (Chorus) Rhythm is a creation A better sensation That will lead you through the night When your body is moving The music is groving I want to take you home tonight (Chorus) Keep dancing hard Give this groove more feeling Dance trance dance More Feeling In out up down all around On the dance for getting down Take the time yes to show them who Who can make your body groove Totally as the party started Sweet dreams keep coming harder (Chorus 2x)
This is not religious music.stop 🛑 that horseplay!we may listen to the same jams....we are a unity.i like this kind of music for techno only.not god this, father thus, son this or theholy spirit!!!😡😡😡😡😡
This music plays deep within my soul. My great grandfather used to play this song every moerning whenever he would make me and my six siblings blueberry pancakes and sing along. he had the voice of an angle. Every time i hear it a small tear can't help but escape my eyes. i love this song so much!
VHS, cassette tapes.cars clothes music people now all dead. The memories so real so vivid almost like they're still happening when I hear this. Thank you for letting me relive them again.
Every once in a while i'll have "oh la oh la ay" stuck in my head for no reason, and I find myself desperately searching where it's from and always come back to this.
