Dear Friends and guitar lovers. I have been holding off on commenting on the many dislikes because the reason for them is quite surreal. I investigated how could this be, that in 24 hours, at some point last year, I got tons of thumbs down. It turns out that there was some kind of unexplainable glitch; It seems that 94% of the thumbs down came from………. you ready for this……. BANGLADESH….. I know, strange…..:) what have I ever done to them, I thought. So, as to be expected, Some people gave me a sincere thumbs down, that's fine, but not this massive amount from one country that is not knows for being a classical guitar metropolis. I have said nothing, because It always seemed undignified to respond to criticism in a public way. I figured I would "break" that rule since we do live a world of ever closer communication. Thank you all for your support and comments. Cheers.
+Adam del Monte your musical interpretation and feel are spot on for me. As far as Bangladesh goes you might want to see if the thumbs up gesture is a bad thing, so with that being said maybe it wasn't meant to be a bad thing giving you a thumbs down. I feel it was in attempts to not insult your playing.
I know that in India when there were no multinationals there Coca Cola was banned so they had Champa Cola and instead of Seven Up they had Thumbs Up. Maybe that has something to do with the thumbs down?
in the 31 years I've been playing guitar myself, this is still my single-most favourite piece of music from all of the great composers of this genre. you played this not only accurately, but with a passion that the music really needs. I especially liked the Allegro Solemne section - beautiful ... thank you.

The most perfect quality of sounds among thousand of guitarists....! Only after you listen to the thousands of other players, you might see and have a golden ear on how his play is so perfect.

Bravo!! I had the pleasure of seeing a concert of yours at Valley College some years ago and was enthralled! I really think your biggest asset as a consummate guitarist/musician is your ability to cross over from classical to flamenco so naturally and to also create your own style of music and repertoire. Hi Adam, dont change a thing in anything you do musically, its truly amazing. Even the sound, who someone critiziced, is amazing and doesnt need any "fatness" by technical engineers!
I can´t figure out RU-vid sometimes. A guy plays a piece of music with great skill and feel with a nicely made video and gets loads of dislikes!? Adam, if you´re reading this may I suggest you use a kitten in your next video, they really seem to get people motivated.
Uk Alien Second video I'm watching of his, what's with the dislikes he gets? The only people finding their way to this video are classical guitar fans, why are half of them disliking him? He's clearly amazing!
A beautiful piece, and you have played it here with impressive technical mastery, great purity of tone, and super musicality. Ignore those who don't understand anything.
Most enjoyable! I know this piece very well and am learning flamenco guitar and don't understand any of the bad comments. Maybe people are just plain jealous!
It's the nail use while towards the bridge that causes the ponticello tone. The actual mic sound is very warm and has ample reverb. But this is his artistic decision, which is fine. It's like food - sometimes you feel like something crisp and salty, othertimes soft and sweet, and that's ok.
I like your playing much! It's very clean. Though I do think the third movement does not have enough tension in it and I don't like the recording. But overall the playing is very good. If I could play just 1/3 as well as you do I will be elated!! I also watched your tutoring video and found them very helpful!!
If Bernie could lead the country half as good as you play then I would endorse him! Lol! You are a highly underrated guitarist that should be along side the likes of Diego or Paco easily my friend! Awesome!

i believe that the sound could be richer if only recording( mastering) parametres changed. for sure Adam does know how to get a rich sound out of guitar. but i also miss here some more sound "fatness". So sound engineer, bad job! still, Adam, you seemed a bit reserved. i bet you still have 35 % of power in your pocket hehe ;) cheers!
All negative comments, are coming from frustrated people that can not play as Adan can play, fuck negative comments, bullshit, Adan is an awesome guitar player at all ..
