Favorite part was the laughter at the donkeys organization for the massive Russ dead cap hit and having to overdraft this dumb dumb bo nix 😂 still lol'ing this morning
Thinking about just how excited you probably were when Vidal got that first TD!!! That was a much better game to watch, very excited for what Kimani might be able to do down the road...Justin looked brilliant. Defense was stout. I'm taking all the credit because I predicted a loss, and of course, never have I been this happy to be proven wrong.
With the way the offense is set up this year...a WR1,WR2,etc...is irrelevant this year. All receivers did well today..including Palmer. He has gotten off to a slow start due to multiple injuries in the beginning of the year...including missing the Pittsburgh game. We will see how Ladd and QJ hold up thru the season...as it progresses. The group as a whole will be by committee...especially when DJ Chark comes back
@@kalvinknab5963the thing is he didn’t prevent the WR from going for the ball they let the contact play bc the WR was arm battling with him Michael Davis would have grabbed the guys left arm and held it down well before he had a chance to go up for it. Still played that pass as well as he could’ve.
Just watched Herbert's presser after the game, and actually he learnt that Harbaugh had the heart thing *then* when he got the first question. Unfortunately the one thing the Chargers still do badly is provide mics and make the questions audible, so no idea what the questions were and who were asking. Justin was pretty surprised.
I've been Simi Feheko's biggest fan since last year. Every time I'm watching, he's just making reliable catch after reliable catch. He was great today. Palmer is definitely *not* WR1 for us, imho. For me, it's 1. McConkey 2. Simi 3. QJ 4. Davis 5. Palmer (in the strictly WR sorting).
Mike Dub come home, Herb won’t do you dirty like that. If we lose Minter next year, would Saleh be a good fit? Also, if Bosa has a few good games do we trade him to Detroit?
The defense played like shit at the end should of been a blow out but a wins a win ig and why the fuck does Gregg Roman want to throw it 3 times in a row when we are on our own 10 yard line???
They went into prevent and gave them too many easy plays. Why teams do that, I have no idea. I’ve watched the Chargers fail at playing that defense at least since the Norv years.
@@SDMev1982 Partner, we didn’t go into prevent. We were playing our normal zone d, and we blitzed a lot, sending 5 about half the time. I just rechecked the condensed nfl + replay. We stayed aggressive - with four of our CB’s out. (Fulton and Leonard were out by the fourth quarter.)
I posted this on the other livestream page as a comment as I missed the Q&A but here's the Chargers scoring in the second half this year (spoiler: not much improved from last year). This is worrying me. Broncos 3 Chiefs 0 Steelers 0 Panthers 6 Raiders 16
@@randallturner9094 I get that, but it's also really dangerous thinking. We shoulda learned from the Jacksonville fiasco, right? You can't just coast the rest of the way in a safe little boat. There's no boat big enough in the NFL to carry you the rest of the way. You have to play 60 full mins. You can't stop playing offense. This happens so often to us..we don't score and teams catch up and it becomes a really close thing. That's not putting teams away. That's doing a half-assed job and escaping with a victory when you win, and agony when you lose.
@@nsn5564 1) we didn’t “let up” vs Jax. A bunch of key guys got injured late in the first half. Most Chargers fans don’t realize it because basically it wasn’t talked about, and it was chic to blame Staley instead. 2) we didn’t let up yesterday either. We played aggressive defense till the end. Again, we lost a few guys on D (Fulton, Leonard) and O, and we stopped the clock on ourselves a bit when we should have just run every down. I don’t think we did much wrong coaching-wise either time. If you do, fine, give examples. Other than, “get first downs” or “stop Denver”; that’s what they were trying to do. Edit: I got a Jax flashback today, ironically. Was checking replay for how interior OLine played, saw Slater whiff late 4th. Rewound; read “Sarell” on his jersey. Salyer playing RG spotty too - don’t know why he can play tackle but iffy at guard.
