"When I was little, I used to catch butterflies".
On her 15th birthday, Charlotte meets Alexis, a girl the same age, who helps her put her bike back together after it goes off the rails. A strong friendship develops between them, but Charlotte has to face up to her emotions when she learns that Alexis is moving away.
La Dérailleuse is a #shortfilm made in 2022 by La Bande à Kubrick, which took 3 years to prepare. The members were aged 14/15 at the time of filming.
