I absolutely *LOVE* how the good reverend BFG truly and literally SHARES the stage with other musicians. Everyone gets to show their talent, not just fade into the background. Whenever and wherever I've seen him share the stage, it's truly a collaboration where everyone shares their music with the world.

@@Firetuna1 Supposedly an interviewer asked Jimi Hendrix what it felt like to be the world's greatest guitar player and Jimi responded by saying "I don't know...you'd have to ask Billy Gibbons that question!" Tells you everything you need to know about how other guitar players viewed B.G back in the day. Nice to see Orianthi gettin after it as well...she is an outstanding guitar player. Best female guitarist in the world right now IMHO.
le premier concert de ma vie!!!! j'avais 12ans!!! sur les épaules de mon tonton!!! aujourd'hui j'ai 48 ans et toujours cette musique dans ma tête et mon coeur!!
Living in a little stick town in Texas in the 1970s, ZZ Top was mandatory listening. My friend had a '63 Chevy with an 8 track player and The Best of ZZ Top was the only tape in the car. That and a steady supply of Lone Star were all we needed.
A Legend from the early 70's! Can't believe it's 2023 and the Blues man is still going. Been a ZZ Top man since the middle 70's. Saw them And Skynyrd in Memphis 75??
Reverend GIBBONS 🎖️🎖️🎖️🎸 Playing A Heavy Texas Blues Driving Rock . Making It All Look So Easy and Slick . Billy Is Getting Audiences Excited . So Cool . 🏄🏽♀️🇺🇸✨
Everyone played outstanding solos..there's nothing wrong with Orianthi's solo, she's just displaying her more modern style with some "outside" licks to spice it up a bit...Bravo!!!
Going to another key for the purpose of bringing the tension back to the original key is somewhat acceptable and the first time sounded ok, but the second time she did it it was bad
@@pgio2000 she was just playing cliche licks in the wrong key. really bad. if you get around you'll hear totally unknown guitar players that you'll totally not believe. don't know what it takes to get famous; probably a dad with connections like everything else :)
@@jgunther3398 I have a great respect for Orianthi's playing, but she did seem to to go right off key at 3:16. Yeah it was just so far off but generally she has paid her musical dues IMO so nothing to do with getting any favours because she is hot and cute 🤪
Happened to run into Billy at Greune Hall a while back. He was shooting a documentary. I laid back until I thought he had a moment . I walked up , extended, my hand , he did as well,. I told him thank you all the fantastic music I still listen to since "(Somebody Else Been) Shaking Your Tree"in 1971. He looked me dead in the face, still shaking my hand and said "That's is the best thing I have ever heard". Class act.
My boys rockin been a fan since I was 19 now I'm 56 and hope I can get to see them one more time southern fried rock ya that's right in near Chicago love and respect Douglas Ferro
I keep telling these Artists how much I enjoy (to myself). I wish I knew if they hear me. This "put together" is so loaded with natural wonderful content and Music. Thank-you Rev. Willy G and crew. Thank-u...I am WOW.

I don't know who the young guy is, but you can tell he is in awe, and totally respects Billy. The others take this as some kind of battle to outshine him. Young guy just looks so happy and appreciative to be on stage with him, and probably stayed the most faithful to Billy's simple blues playing style, rather than try to over-shred it. That's pure respect for the opportunity.
I think that's Fred Eltringham (who's name I may have just misspelled). He's Sheryl Crow's guy, one of my brother in law's buddies, and a fantastic drummer. And if that's not him, this guy is great too.
Billy was the god up there and that guy playing the Squire showed the younger how it’s done. Although, gotta say, big props to the drummer. Sounded great. Thanks for uploading.
I was already wondering if I was the only one noticing the quality drumming. That man's a genius with the sticks. Rarely heard something THAT groovy... it just jumped at me. And I am a guitar player. That goes to say something... :-D

And ol Mike Henderson up there showing he's no slouch even playing a Squier! $500 guitar vs the rest of them with $5000 guitars! Super tight backing band.
Chacun, Chacune a sa place dans ce train qui nous emmène à travers les paysages idylliques de la musique de votre groupe Billy F Gibbons ET J'ADORE ENCORE ENCORE et TOUJOURS YEAR YEAR YEAR
I love this song! I never get tired of hearing it ! This and smoke on the water were the first 2 rock songs that hooked me! A classic guitar solo! Ori really tears it up - hot chops - great technique and phrasing ! Mike Henderson really brought some old school in

Who’d a thunk that Orianthi and Billy Gibbons would be such a perfect pairing? I never really thought of her as that kind of player but she and Billy just owned the stage, owned Billy’s fantastic songs, and everyone else disappeared. More please!
