My father was an Olympic committee director for the Armenian SSR for boxing, weightlifting, Greco-Roman wrestling and handball. When he went to Cuba (I was an infant so don’t remembe) in the early 80s, he told me that no other socialist nation sang this song prior to an athletic event with the passion that the Cubans did.

This really made me happy, as I lived in Cuba and have family there this gives me hope that they will never lose what they achieved with so much effort. Or at least it will be very hard to destroy it.
@@valentinoesposito3614... the only reason socialism fell in Eastern Europe was because of party revisionism and then the party became bourgeois and ceded to capitalism. Pressure from the west helped with this, but it fell from internally. In places where they haven’t lost the revolutionary character, like Cuba or the DPRK or the PRC, socialism is as strong as ever

Cuba is actually a real socialist country, giving people the freedom of speech (unless if you're talking against the government), religion, etc. DPRK isn't a real socialist country, it's just a fascist state.
