These kids nailed it. Zoot Suit is one of my all-time favorite plays and movies. I've even seen Luis Valdez himself play with his wife Lupe in it in San Juan Bautista. the costumes and dancing are fabulosos.
I am so impressed with these kids. Where did they find all of these awesome zoot suits? I wish the girls’ costumes were as accurate as the boys. Is this a performing arts high school? It easily could be.
Browsing this video got my attention. Outstanding performance. Remember. That generation was very special. (Pachocos) They took pride in everything. especially in their stylish apperal. Next act. My family they love this play and movie too. I first time it was then I was younger and I still love the music and don't understand Spanish. Still listening to the music to this day.
Let me tell you. I am mexican born in mexico city. WEe loved zoot suit movie among my friends in high school. I believe is not where u born but he blood u have and values of raza family or friends
Change has always been a problem with all the people that walk around with their noses up in the air, rock n roll, Elvis, the hippies, it just goes on n on.
The kid's are dressed up like the real pachucos back in the days, but the girls are dressed like any other girl from the 21st century, girls that were with pachucos,dressed in long skirts below the knee and dresses below the knee, not mini skirts, by the way how do I know,I'm 68 and I used to to see my uncles and aunts dressed up as pachucos

@@FriedIce3 no cagues el palo vato, ser pachuco o cholo no tiene mucho o nada que ver con estudiar o terminar estudios; pero si insistes hazme cualquier pregunta de ajedrez, teologia, matematicas, musica, box o filosofia helenica ( griega) . estoy preparado con eso y un trillon de cositas mas. creci en la zona (col. zona norte-tijuas) ahi empece a tirar trompos, cuando la liber era 2o. lugar en desmadre. solo perdi un tiro de casi 300, los tiburones no nos andamos con mamaditas guey.
