I love how the game takes itself rather semi-seriously. Jupo was such a great character, subverting the idea of a "destroyer of humanity", which i really like. Not every destroyer is an edgelord. And seeing Jupo have such a fun time fighting C4 had me laughing alot. And despite that, there were so many horrifying themes the game took. Also the whole faith ending was hilariously amazing. I had alot of fun with this fangame, and i can definitely recommend it to anyone who looks for great gameplay, a sans you can actually hit, and a plot you need to dig deeper into to understand. You will be missed, mini Jupo #14.
I like the little detail of Jupo being able to make far more expressions than Sans That's not something a skeleton can just do. His face is deforming to change expressions with just a skull
@@MarksmanRevolver You also KNOW what happened even if it's not told directly A Sans that stopped an almost complete genocide with a fatal blow still standing but no longer Sans as we know him. It's clear Sans sold himself to somehow beat an infinite enemy
@@muchotexto4248 Wise Fetus says something implying that La Jupo is either the reincarnation of sans or using his body "Born from the ashes of the last obstacle of the Fallen Child" or something
I just can’t get enough of “Origins” It slaps so hard for what is basically supposed to just be exposition Obviously I wish I could listen to a seamless Loop for hours, but that’s unlikely to happen at this point in time
i LOOOVEEE la jupo/(3:34). i don't know how you guys did it, but this song PERFECTLY captures the feeling of "YOU again....", but not in an annoying sense. this is "HIM. your enemy. the other side of the coin." type of sense. i don't know how to really describe it IT THE SONG SOUNDS GOOD MY EARS ARE PLEASED.
@@Wazoo3D yippee Though I wouldn't call that a completely 'sans fangame' since the antagonist here is actually not sans, and stuff is pretty different from most UT fangame. (Well.. he did come from sans's dust, but that doesn't mean he is a sans) Even if Undertale yellow is actually the best fangame besides la jupo vania, I still love them :>

14:45 I feel like in the name of David can mix well with pull my devil trigger. Kinda like some different lyrics in the background like: ALL THIS INSANITY IN MY HEAD, ALL OF THIS CALAMITY IN MY HEAD,ALL OF THIS INSANITY IN MY HEAD, AND IT GO BANG BANG BANG, IN THE NAME OF DAVID.
@@Eternatus00 The lyrics are "Are you scared to walk on water?" "Are you scared to move across it?" "Are you scared to walk on water?" "Are you scared to follow a god?", i think that part is inspired from a song called dobri jesu
The amazing menu is so underrated. It's so atmospheric and it fits SO well. It's very chill at the beginning and even at the drop it manages to maintain the same vibe. The menu itself is just so well made. The monochrome colors, the big title, the red piece of text that's randomized and the cool mountain in the corner all work well and blend with the music. This might be the best menu screen I've seen in a game so far.
fun fact: la jupo vania has an anticheat, you can circumvent it by launching the anticheat after la jupo vania, but, in the FAITH segment, it detects, like, no matter, and, when it detects the cheats, it crashes the game very eerily, with text along the lines of, "La Jupo has become unstable. Report to Pablo 5", and in the crash, the ARANEA keeps saying "A E I O U" over and over
@Kritzomega i think it doesn't matter in a singleplayer game; as everything inside a singleplayer game serves only to be entertaining to it's sole viewer
dont forget, toby vs la jupo is something that could theoretically happened in lore. toby never dies in the genocide route, and la jupo vania is just the genocide route 255,000 years later. so after la jupo shows up and before c4 comes to kill him, toby could have appeared to kill la jupo first. now who would win in this battle? probably toby. if some random robot could kill la jupo, than toby fox, creator of the undertale universe, would wipe the floor with him.
Did you know that these lyrics ,,Dobry jezu a nasz Panie, daj mu wieczne spoczywanie" This is a Polish prayer that is often used during various devotions, especially during Holy Mass. It is often sung or recited at the end of various forms of prayer, such as the rosary and not only.
this entire thing barely feels like an undertale fan game, and thats such a good thing. its so solid and can stand on its own so easily, very very stellar work!
Did you all know its accually polish church song in the background of 14:45 ?Its remixed a bit but its ,,Dobry Jezu a nasz panie,, and Its used on funerals💀.Its more creepy when you think about it.He is even vibing to it...
one of the best fangames from the undertale community rn with such an amazing ost thats actually uniquely composed too as a musician better then most stuff we see nowadays (tired of dusttrust instruments such as the loud annoying electric guitar and half baked drums/compression making everything worse with the leads being repetitive from the million cover/takes)

Jupo is my favorite sans au, it’s just so creative, funny, and has great music with a touch of goofiness. Sure it’s dark as well, but that’s what makes you love Jupo even more!
and, if those were never officially mentioned outside of the game and phase 1.5, phase 2, and the 'PARASITE' segment only had 50% chance of existing to one player, it would be even funnier
I love how La Jupo Vania has Megalovania vibes, but it doesn’t follow the same format. Possibly a reference to how La Jupo is a reincarnation of Sans, but clearly not him.
The Theme of C4 goes so damn hard (along with La Jupo's Leitmotif sprinkled in) funnily enough, La Jupo shares the "Chaos God of Death" title with Flumpty Bumpty, another joke character.
yeah but it would be more convenient for people who get they're music from youtube I guess. For example, I have a youtube playlist and I'd love to put 'In the name of David' in it.@@duxerz
