I don’t know if this was intentionally done but the alternating left and right hand movement around 3:22-3:51 seemed to represent an imagery of Mia and Sebastian’s inevitable fall out, at least for me. It’s beautiful!

He's not playing popular/current music like despacito etc.. The most popular pianists on youtube play all the current songs that are released, easy way to get views/attention basically. It's nothing to do with actual talent and skill level of the pianist themselves.

Because the way to stand out from the crowd is to compose one's own original stuff, or at least be the first to perform something. There are a lot of brilliant session musicians whose names we will never know.

I'm digging the Jazz/swing feel in the beginning, but I would leave the first time through the main melody true to the movie before expanding into the awesome stuff. And then I would also end with a slow version of the original theme. Just to keep the feeling of the movie in the song. This ending totally throws the movie aside. Other than that, I still love it!

With all those ideas you should make your own arrangement. Considering the movie is about a jazz pianist who loves Thelonius Monk etc. I strongly disagree with you that my ending disregards the movie. In fact it was inspired by how Ryan Gosling finishes the song at the restaurant.

The Mad Arranger / Jacob Koller I'm nowhere near the composer you are. I just play your stuff😂 I was just giving my two cents. I went back and rewatched the first time this song was played in the movie, and you were right. However, they allude to it again in the end scene and the end of the song is just him trailing off sadly with the Mia/Sebastian theme. I still give every one of your videos a thumbs up (including this one), but just wanted to give some constructive criticism👍🏼 Have a good one!

Leo Choco I don't think Dmitry meant for Jacob to play at a lower level in the video, but for him to create an intermediate level sheet music pdf so he would sell more copies since most people aren't as advanced as Jacob
