What's most impressive about this video, is Stack is expressing deep insight on the same topic that was the cause of his own setbacks when he did his bid. Shit, Flesh is the OG of the fucking group. The fact that he has gained so much knowledge on law/order/policies over the years, he is now preaching wtf the youth should've heard when he was that age. I would push the mic away too. This world is fucked and people are stressing the wrong issues.
I was breathless. Couldn't feel what Flesh was saying at first but he started to open my mid up. Love it. Bizzy was completely on point as well as Wish n Krayzie (quiet as usual). Compete HARMONY as expected from BONE
and i respect the bone thugs-n-harmony perspective they didnt hop on the whole give us fame and money off trayvon's death band wagon like plies and jay-z instead they gave a fair and honest perspective on the whole situation
Bone thugs man you guys where almost 100% of my gateway to rap music man way back when i was little my older bro bout youre album and i jacked it lol but anyways man yall needa get up on a higher stage you have more reach than you know and just speak about all this shit and keep it real
It's never too late for people to change their lives for the better including former felons. He did his time and is now trying to make a positive impact and I respect him for that. He went to prison for pulling a gun on someone but he did not fire and later was remorseful about it. The judge also called his childhood one of the worst cases of child abuse she had ever read. If anything him speaking to kids will have a huge effect and save kids from making the same mistakes he made.
I agree, it just shows they grew up. Maybe they had that mentality when they were young and naïve - without money (nothing to lose) now their wiser, with money, with family.
Trues Humbly United Gathering Souls Flesh-N-Bone bought his tape at the wherehouse music store years ago first week it dropped thats a classic in my book G!
I love bone to death. Got em all n my phone now... But isn't it hypocritical to hav So much passion about a situation such as the trevon martin case and all the other cases mentioned by flesh.... Then go and rap about a song, chanting the word Murda, redrum.:.and blastin sum1 with a 12 Gage?.... As much love as I hav For em....its all hypocritical....
It seems to me that the moment one party chooses to expressly defy the instructions of the authorities and engage in an altercation that said party knows may not go smoothly while carrying a firearm, that party should be held accountable to the consequences of their actions.
UP AND FOR MOZT BIGG UPZ TO POWER106fm FOR ALLWAYZ SHOWING ND DISPLAY IN DAT CALI LUV. TO BONE THUGZ AND HARMONY ND POWER106fm, STILL HOLDIN IT DWN FOR YA. PEACE OUT ONE LUV.
It happens all around the world my friend, not just in America. You may be different, you may not judge people by their skin color and may show respect to people, but there are other whites who don't feel the same way as you, still stuck in their old ways of thinking, who teach their kids to think of black people as inferior, no matter how educated they may be. And there are enough of these people to make a difference and spark anger and returned hatred. I hope for that day you speak of too...
@ Flesh & the rest of Bone-Trayvon was NOT in the wrong place, he had the right to be where he was. Don’t condemn Trayvon in the name of your gun rights. Instead of condemning the youth, how about starting a Stop the Violence movement? How about a trip to Chicago to squash beef between gangs? The hood would LOVE for Bone to come through dropping knowledge & peace-making. Don’t condemn the youth-most likely they grew up listening to you rap about murder anyway. You owe us some wisdom.
That one guy with the beard made no sense when he said that maybe Trevon might have saw a gun and been in the fight for his life cause if he had seen a firearm he wouldn’t have been on top of Zimmerman like that. He would have taken off running like anyone else would have in that situation. It’s still a tragedy that he lost his life but let it be a lesson not to try and be the tough guy in any situation cause you never know what you may be getting into. If he hadn’t approached Zimmerman in a aggressive manor he would be alive today! Let that be a lesson. This is for everybody... just sayin...
there are loads of things in this world we can be outrage by, but injustices in a form to any person is where the bar is set .The question and focus is the case, the fact is one person is dead, and he was unarmed and followed by a man who could have walked away, and let the police deal with it. We know when a man has a gun he feel very brave, and will do things that are out of his own nature. He must know how to wield strength with control. If Trayvon pulled a gun what would been the outcome?
now i wish bone haven't said anything about Trayvon, lol, i am glad that they all don't agree with each other at the least. and i agree about flesh giving a good speech that's not related to Trayvon. i'm a HUGE bone fan, but flesh is waaaay off base here.
You're right they're aren't white. They are people. People by design have different thought patterns about things. They're called opinions. You see a very good example of this in the video itself. They didn't all agree with one another completely but yet they sit there and have a intellectual conversation without getting heated because they are educated free thinkers with an opinion and respect for one another. They don't sound simple at all to me. They sound educated on the matter.
So weird watchin this right now. Listened to the whole E.1999 Eternal album at 5am this morning front to back beginning to end from Da Introduction to tha Crossroads U-Neek Remix and then I get this linked to me 20 minutes ago. Kinda bugs me out haha. Been listenin to a lot of BTNH recently.
Flesh has served many years in prison for pulling guns out on people he has beef with, so his words are just that words...because he never followed what he is saying.Just got to consider the source.
even if trevyon was alive we would still hee his side of the story and not the truth. That's why it's important to have an eye witness which they didn't
True Humble United Gathering is the best and the best group. The rapper's and singer's that's on God's side is the best.THUG QUEEN is the best out in 2013. Every 1 get the "Mo Thugs" albums like Family Scriptures and the mother Ship. The Mo Thugs the Mother Ship is the best lyrical album i ever heard. Please get that album. A song called "Did He Really Wanna".
I would guess when he went to prison he spent a ton of time reading and educating himself. He most likely read the Constitution and Bill of Rights and now is trying to express the freedoms we have which we take for granted. He actually did a wonderful job of race uniting while others were race dividing.
@keybeansome Actually Flesh is a felon so he no longer has ANY gun rights. So essentially he's trying to protect OUR gun rights which is a very noble, unselfish thing to do. Most people would have thought "screw it I cant own a gun so why should I care".
to be fair, bone didn't seem to be in agreement about this situation. which isn't surprising since this group hasn't been on he same page since the mid 90's. lol
like i said to someone else flesh is right for the wrong reasons. wish seems to actually understand what the dj was trying to say while krayzie looked uncomfortable discussing it.
