I so love this rendition; your phrasing; the way you handle the vocal ornaments; the directness of the presentation; the way in which your voice and the guitar do not have separate microphones; and the resonance of the hard walls around you. I prefer this to your studio version with Jesse Cook on guitar. Cook does a lovely job supporting you, but the studio mixing is overworked for my taste. The simplicity this recording evokes is my favorite way to hear this literature performed. As I listen I find myself in quiet tears.
