Incredible jet from the volcano in La Palma, Canary Islands produces massive ash cloud. The jet producing the huge lava fountain is spewing so rapid it at times produces supersonic shock waves. All shots from drone in 4k. All shots are at normal speed and have not been sped up.

We don't even know the half of it. There is a lot more happening out of sight under the ground.

Amazing! The left row is seconds, the right is ft traveled. Count the seconds between the lava bomb pausing in the air to when it lands. That is how high the lava bomb went. 1 second -30 feet 2-90 3-180 4-300 5-450 6-620 7-790 8-960 9-1130 10-1300 11-1470

The way the steam and gasses are being sucked into the vent from outside demonstrates a lot about gas inflow into the jets of magma and ash. Very informative!

As I'm watching this I'm trying to think of a worthy adjective to describe the view, everything pales. but I'm going to say "breathtaking" in more than 1 way. It reminds me of a welding torch times a billion or more. Fascination, ok I thought of that one. but still pales. Great filming and bravery! Just Awesome! from Colorado, USA.

0:50 weird how the smoke wants to go down instead of up, the vapor

it is the principle of the water jet pump, the vapor is sucked into the crater by the extreme fast jet rising upwards

Just amazing, the ferocity of the venting, that blowtorch in particular. The footage is absolutely spectacular. It really shows the possibility that this is being fueled by a gas deposit, and a hydrocarbon oil deposit. How else could that venting be anything but that consequence.

Great video but audio adds more to the experience. The vapors getting sucked in because it’s being pulled back in through other vent openings along the volcano.

It's a drone, no audio. I have stuff from the ground with audio but it is 8k and I won't be posting until I get home and have more time. I can pipe in audio from the ground camera but then it just feels fake.

Everything you see on my channel I shot, this included. Also, "thanking" the channel is still copyright theft and it doesn't make it ok. It's like stealing someone's car and thanking them. :)

its amazing how super hot jets of electromagnetic plasma leaving the hole is creating such a powerful vacuum it drags the cooler white clouds of gas up & over then down into the opening to fill that lower pressure space contra to being forced up into the jets sooner

You have some awesome footage of this! A Volcano with this magnitude is always spectacular to witness. I'm curious as to why you don't have audio with your videos? There are four effects someone gets from something like this & visual is the most important one. Audio is the second because it gives a better perspective of the force & power this produces. The other two you can only witness in person & that is to feel the rumbling, shaking & the percussions of the blast. Then there is the smell of the hot molten lava & ash producing the gasses, Co2 & sulferic smell in the air. You can only get the true concept of it all in person. If you were to add Audio it would make a lot of difference for your viewers, Some of them with the right sound system could even get some of the rumbling effects to even make your Videos all that much better. Just a suggestion, Thank You for your Videos!

First, thank you for the compliments. So here is the catch. It's a drone, there is no mic. If it had a mic then it would sound like a hive of angry bees. I do have video from the ground but I've been shooting in 8k, 10 bit color at 400mb/s. The files are so massive that even my high powered 8 core gaming laptop designed to edit video can't even play it back. So, when I get home next week I will be able to upload it with a lot of recorded audio as well. The next problem is the audio timestamps are quite different between the drone which is about 100 meters away and the camera which is 1.5KM away. The sound difference when matched up looks odd. The final option is to take some of that 8k video, throw it in my editor, remove the video, leave the sound and merge it with the drone video. I did do this today and will be uploading it shortly. So I'll have that drone video with sound tonight even if it is off some. Ground video uploaded in 8k next week with sound but the best video I've shot so far will be uploaded tonight without sound because it's a lot of work to do sitting next to a volcano by myself with limited bandwidth and computing power. Hope that helps.

@@WxChasing When your a KM away from something the sound is always around a second behind the action that creates it. I remember when I was a kid & climbed up the hill behind our house I could see one of our neighbors dogs barking , it was a second or two later I could hear the bark. Either way I enjoy watching your videos, I'll go see if I can find the one you mentioned. Thanks again.

Seems like to me it's tapped into a natural gas reserve the way it's shooting out like a blowtorch
