I actually met Esteban in like '99 in Flagstaff at a tiny little used bookstore where he was playing his guitar. It was the first time I'd ever heard a guitar played like that and it was incredibly moving. I think all I could say was "so beautiful, thank you" and my name. lol And then I sat down and cried. Pff. It really is absolutely beautiful playing.

He has done more than any guitarist to bring awareness about classical guitar to the world. A Great classical guitarist. I love the way he plays

All I can say is thank you Esteban,this is a clear indication that there are just two guitarist Esteban and the others. I am 55 years old and I have been knowing this tune since I was a young Boy growing up and there is a particular way this tune is sang in my native language,it is a tune that resonates with me such that it makes me remember those good old days. I was just a kid when I'd see him on, I believe it was PBS, or possibly home shopping network / HSN, & fell in love with his style, & his music, I couldn't wait for him to come back on the television, I was glued to the TV, I always dreamed of being able to have the money someday somehow to buy his guitar, & DVD set that taught people how to play the guitar, but I was just to young to do anything about it, I wanted to play just like him someday, but we just couldn't afford it , & we were poor, I was just a youngster, there just was nothing I could do, he's awesome, & his guitars we're so beautiful, I loved the black 1 with the beautiful roses on it, I guess it just wasn't meant to be, & now it's to late to get that deal he was given away

I listen to guitar music every chance I get. Esteban is at the top of my list. A few years ago I picked up one of Esteban's guitars for something to practice while traveling for my job. I had the chance to look at quite a few of them and found one that was well made, had good action, and was easy to play. I still play it today. For my purposes, it was the best money that I've ever spent. Esteban, please upload more of your solos.

What an awesome arrangement! What a beautiful feeling. Why would anyone want to be critical! Are there better? At some aspects, perhaps, but so what! This performance is a beautiful achievement anyone should enjoy! The melodic twists are intriguing and seductive, and the groove is very tight while remaining playful and whimsical. The complexity is sometimes hidden among the timing of the changes and the boundaries of the phrases, if not at times in the phrases themselves. It is absolutely perfect, not just for what it is, but I don't hear a measure that would not be distressed away from the hypnotic and invigorating refreshment that leaves one satiated and content. What a perfect lullaby. Play this when you go to bed. It won't put you to sleep. It will give you the resolve and joy to enjoy a good sleep, and look forward to the next days. Enjoyed it immensely!
