In this edition of La Pedriza bouldering, I use a sneaky beta hack by climbing FEET FIRST on El Talador (8A)! The original beta for El Talador (8A) involved a huge right hand move off the start holds to the center jug...virtually impossible short climbers. However, a local climber discovered this cool feet first beta a few seasons ago. Stoked to finally put down this problem that I've tried off and on for quite some time...one that took a bunch of punts on the El Talador (7B) stand start and a few flappers to finally get the send!
La Pedriza is located less than an hour north of Madrid and is one of my favorite places to go rock climbing in Spain! El Talador (8A) is located in the El Laboratorio Sector.

En está edición de bloque en La Pedriza, ultizo un nuevo método escalando con los pies por DELANTE para sacar El Talador (8A). El método original se centraba en un paso morfo con la mano derecha hasta al canto del medio...algo prácticamente imposible para los escaladores bajitos. Sin embargo, hace algunos años Ignacio Mulero sacó una secuencia chula llevando los pies al cazo. Estoy súper contento tachar este blocazo que me llevo bastante tiempo probando, aunque no con mucha constancia como la mayoría de mis proyectos....me costó dos yemas abiertas y algunas cuantas perdonadas en El Talador (7B) de pie!
La Pedriza está situado una pequeña hora al norte de Madrid y es uno de mis sitios favoritos para escalar en España. El Talador (8A) está ubicado en el sector El Laboratorio Central.
