the wilhelm scream is SUCH an amazing touch as the human call omg..... what an incredible short!! as always yall never fail to create absolute masterpieces

This one had some really great comedic moments yet some rather deep meaning. The Wilhelm scream and our main character admitting that research has made him not fit for travel was too funny. The art style in this one is one of favorites and I adore how pretty those creature designs are!

This is easily one of the funniest things I've watched in a while! All the characters are DEEPLY charismatic and I grew attached to them very quickly... I wish there was a series of just that little guy searching for human things, amazing work 💞 (and the art style????? Simply perfect)

This is very surprising, a Griffin is looking for the legendary humans in a world fills with Unicorns, kraken and Dragons. This is a fantasy world that I loved to see again.

The art direction, the animation, the visuals, the character designs and movements, the voice acting, everything worked so well together, this was comical and dramatic! Overall, a beautiful and phenomenal job!!!!

So much personality in the characters' design! Love the mean looking gryphon 🐥

L'attention au détail est absolue : en voyant le film une deuxième fois, on constate que l'emplacement de l'écaille manquante est dessiné sur le cou du facteur dès sa première apparition. Ce film est vraiment pensé pour être vu et revu pour zieuter tous les petits gags dans les coins, très agréable.

this has got to be one of my most favourite animated short films of all time. everything about it is so perfectly on point, from the character design, to the animation and the style, to the story itself and all its comedic moments. this is truly formidable!!! i will love this one till the end of time

Ho la vache... tout est parfait ! Les dessins, la colorisation, l'humour !!! Le prénom du tout petit griffon, La description de l'humain avec le dessin d'enfant La voie de la traductrice qu'on entend partout à la télé dans les reportages Le gag récurent du facteur qui a en plus une voix assez marante qui va super bien au personnage La blague de langage qui se répercute sur l'animation La pause quand il est épuisé par terre puis il retourne à l'aventure Les noms des régions sur la carte Le cri de Wilhelm Le dessin qui est exactement comme "l'humain" La chute, cassé par le sifflotement qui est un meme : Traditional Italian Army Fight Song La deuxième chute avec l'écaille du dragon Et la troisième chute avec une créature aussi basique qu'une vache qui annonce que Gerard va retourner à la recherche d'une créature mythique malgré son beau discours sur la vie qu'il a autour de lui... C'est le meilleur court-métrage que j'ai vu de ma vie... Je riait de A à Z c'est mervailleux

INCROYABLE!!! J’adorerais voir une version longue, une série en petits épisodes de 10-15 minutes d’une dixaine d’épisodes! Ça serait génial. C’est super, j’en veux plus!!

J’étais au bout…… pas de lumière au bout du tunnel…… puis j’ai fait un choix. Un choix sans précédent, j’ai montrer ce film à mon père, et miraculeusement, il à instantanément retrouvé la vue !!! Miracle !! Il à même pu lire « la quête de la vache » à la fin du film !! Mais ce, n’est pas finit. Ma mère qui passait par là à entrevue le film de loin et est restée par curiositée, comme absorbée par le film…… Le lendemain, incroyable, les médecins sont formels, plus aucun signe de leucémie !!! Son cancer à guéri !!! Quand à moi, depuis le visionnage, je suis en état d’euphorie permanent, comme des orgasmes sans arrêt, je ne m’en lasse pas, le bonheur à l’état pur, le voisin à enfin tondu sa pelouse…… Merci à toute l’équipe pour Le plus beau film que j’aurais vu de toute mon existence et probablement que tout le monde verra de toute sa vie, j’ai déjà fait plus de mille copies sur des disques duresaute sécurité que j’ai enterrés dans des capsules temporelles partout dans le monde et dans l’espace, pour que jamais ne soit oublié, la quête de l’humain……… Merci, adieu……

Je suis une habituée des courts qui sortent des Gobelins et qui sont généralement des chefs d'œuvre. Je les guette assiduement en particulier car mon chéri a essayé d'intégrer l'école à quelques reprises en vain (et vous savez pas ce que vous avez raté 😉) Bref en général j'adore mais là, c'est une masterclass 👌🏻👌🏻 La DA, le doublage, le rythme, la musique, l'humour, je n'arrive pas à m'empêcher de le regarder en boucle ! Bien loin des délires esthético philosophiques de pas mal des shorts précédents (qui sont néanmoins très bons !) c'est vraiment une réussite à tous les niveaux et une bouffée de fraîcheur ! Bien joué à toute l'équipe !!

I like the fabled appearance to match with the proverbial story, all whimsy. It's interesting to consider the human legend. If humanity's myth were real, then perhaps they'd think of humanity as their myth.
