You did a really awesome job on this video. I am LLUSN'92 and like your girlfriend, I spent my first year at La Sierra. It was by far my favorite year. I almost wish I would have pursued another major so I could have spent more time there, but it was not to be. It appears to be true that the small campus still enables a wonderful experience making friends who will be family for life. Wow, they have sure refurbished a lot, and the school of Business is amazing, but it was nice to see the remnants of my old stomping grounds. This made me smile.

@@nicoleortiz130 I actually went to cal poly Pomona lol it was cheaper for me. But Ik people who go to la Sierra and they really love it. And I’ve gone to their campus and it’s really pretty 🤗

I’m interested in going! I’m kind of nervous though. Is the school welcoming? I’m going from the east coast. Also how is the student body, are they moderately religious or not at all?

like any other school, la sierra has great pockets of community, you just gotta find the one that fits for you! coming from the east coast, you'll probably experience a bit of a culture shock when it comes to the religious experience but in my opinion, our campus ministries are amazing, the school itself isn't hyper-religious but the community and relationships are really what help grow your faith, but yeah feel free to ask questions anytime

just curious, I'm going to be an incoming freshman next fall and I just have some questions, do you need to be a Christian to go to la sierra? and do you need to take part in the worship, I love the campus, I want to become a history teacher, and really like this school. Oh, also how big are the desks in the dorms and do you need to pay for the food in the cafeterias? loved the vide!

hey vincent! you made a great pick! no you don't need to be a Christian to come to La Sierra! If you are a dorm student there are required worships you have to attend. The desks are big enough but there's a bunch of spaces to do hw on campus and yes you have paid meal plans for the food in the caf!

you can find a lot of different jobs on campus, from working at the cafeteria to the dorms to even working at different departments, it’s pretty easy to become a student worker. i had at least 3-4 different jobs during my time there

obviously not.....in the video they talk a lot about "diversity" and mention the "earth" (all secular leftist lingo) but no one mentioned the Gospel or 3 Angel's Messages, the Sanctuary or really anything else of learning about preparation for life following God. It most self centered. It was about "checking" themselves out....the only mentions of Christ was in a flippant "now" rhetoric.
