From the tower the view can extend towards the west where there is the beautiful long beach interspersed with rocks that creep into the sea, suggestive inlets framed by dense vegetation and lapped by a sea that turns from blue to emerald green, a true natural paradise that amazes any visitor.
Traveling along the coast towards the west you pass through the beaches of Sa Tuerra, Porto Campana, Spiaggia de su Sali, and Su Giudeu, also known as the beach of s'Abba Durci (freshwater beach), is a long stretch of white sand surrounded by high dunes covered with centuries-old junipers, which with their shapes create a truly unique landscape.
Next to it is the pond, a precious natural oasis, habitat of numerous animal species. In front of Su Giudeu beach, a very short distance from the shore, many people love to reach the small islet, thanks to the shallow water. Thanks to its particular charm, this beach has been used on several occasions to make films and television commercials.
In the westernmost part of this stretch of coast there is the beach of Cala Cipolla, a small sheltered inlet enclosed by a rocky promontory that continues up to the Capo Spartivento lighthouse, from whose summit you dominate the entire southern coast of Sulcis.
